Poor meat quality
We will not go back again. They now charge a mandatory 18% gratuity on every check. I think they forget that I'm cooking the food myself and their customer service has always been horrible. They are so rude. They act like you are bothering them if you need something I absolutely will not support a restaurant that charges 18% gratuity fee. We used to go about once a month, but for the past year, we've been driving to Tacoma because of the issues. Tried it again today because we didn't have time to drive almost an hour for food. Same bad service and being forced to pay for service I didn't get. You also have to be very, very careful and keep a copy of the original itemized check that they bring you because twice when they have brought me the signature receipt to sign they've added money to it and it doesn't match the itemized receipt completely separate from the gratuity that they added. And then they audacity for their receipt to ask for an additional tip after they've already added an 18%
The food is really good but not good enough to have to pay an extra eight dollars per plate .
they automatically add gratitude to your bill at 18% seafood comes with head attached.. not great for small children as you cook at your table. fun type of activity for a try food was ok.. but ill be looking for a different place.
1) the place is disgusting. Every table, seat, and grill we looked at was busted and dirty. Not even like permanent stains that they can't do anything about, but it was just dirty and not cleaned. If the tables are this gross, I can't imagine how they keep the kitchen/fridge.
2) the servers are all rude and have the worst attitudes. From the moment we walked in we were treated with attitude and little to no eye contact. And they automatically add the tip in the bill.... an amount that i dont believe was deserved, but whatever.
3) the food quality and seasoning was sooo below average. Absolutely not worth the price. They take advantage of people who want kbbq but don't know any better.
If you want kbbq, just drive further to Tacoma or Federal Way or Tukwila... hell, even the drive to Bellevue would be worth more than whatever I just spent and dealt with at this restaurant.
reminds me of being in Korea! The food was great and the staff was awesome! It is a little pricey but it's worth it in my opinion! I like to go here whenever I miss Korea. I love Korean BBQ and the experience of having it is fun. The side dishes are great too! And the offer some Korean beers and wines as well to give you the ultimate experience.
Horrible
Very good food, A very grouchy server.
Reasonably priced. Good food. Nice staff
Price is comparable to others. The food was great, big portions. Service was pretty quick. Can't complain.
The food is great! We ordered plan B for 4 people and had some leftover taken home. This plan will be enough for 5 people. I would highly recommend galbi (short ribs), seafood pancake, Gejang (spicy raw crab), spicy stir fried squid. Service is pretty good. The notice of 18% gratuity will be added is posted on the entrance wall.

Gnagnam Korean BBQ II is a fantastic spot for all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ! The restaurant is clean, spacious, and perfect for families. Highly recommend!
Very dirty and rundown, servers are extremely rude and unwelcoming
Ordered steamed dumplings, which were not bad, and the worst hot stone bibimap I have ever had. I was not able to get a choice of meat and was told it only came with bulgogi. When my order was served, there was hardly any meat, and what little there was looked like ground beef. Everything was tasteless and came to over $30. That's with water only, which also had a funny taste. Save your money and stay away!
Food is pretty decent. Sometimes the servers forget to check on you. Building was very cold. Recently, they have added a mandatory 18% gratuity for every single person vs. for only major parties. Then asked for an additional tip on the receipt. Almost worth it to drive further than to eat here.
So the moment I walked inside there was no one to greet us. I even said hello out loud and no one came. I finally decided to walk up to the counter where a Korean woman was talking to another Korean woman. I said once again hello and they didn’t even say it back to me. I said do I just sit anywhere? And she gave me a look and nodded. I sat down and it took forever for her to bring us menus and there was only one other party there the place was empty. After the server brought the sides we ordered and she turned on the grill. I didn’t notice at first but I realized it after that the grill was dirty and not just grill plate but the inside part you can’t remove. I told her we’d like to move to another grill and she gave us an attitude and dirty look. We even moved all the plates, side sides and drinks etc ourselves. We got our meat and started to grill but later the lady came over and turned the heat so low it was taking the brisket beef long to cook and everyone knows that thin beef doesn’t take long to cook. At the end they charged an 18% gratuity for a party of two? Hahah that is just so laughable considering we cook our own food and the service is just NOT good. Everyone listen to the other reviews because I had read it but we decided to try it anyway because we like to experience things and make our own opinion. But yeah the reviews are all accurate. It sucks because it’s the only Korean bbq place near me since I moved from Tacoma area. This place will not last long with service like this and the food isn’t anything special.
