There are clearly labeled vegan options but they’re not the most affordable/filling so I would recommend this spot more for a coffee. The coffee is great and they have a bunch of other drink options too like Red Bull sodas etc! Love this place and the community seems to too.

My coworker and I come here every day, and when we aren't working... I come here with my spouse. They have the actual best chai in town, best lattes, and tastiest food. Staff is so warm and friendly here and set our morning right. Ashley always takes care of us...and even remembers our orders! Talk about going above and beyond!! She's the best!

Madres is my favorite espresso stand because of the people that work therein. That isn't to say that their drinks, specifically my lattes, arren't perfect, because they certainly are. So good, maybe too good?
I have, in all my visits, been met with professionalism and kindness, be it for my morning or evening lattes.

I typically come to madres in the mornings and have really good service, really good sandwiches/drinks and generally a good experience. Just came in, ordered two drinks, two sandwiches. When the barista Elizabeth was prepping my drink she dropped the cup on the ground, picked it back up and continued making my drink with the cup that fell. When I asked her about this, she was very nonchalant, saying that she “didn’t think it was an issue” but that she could still remake my drink anyways if I wanted to. Then when she saw that I didn’t leave a tip she backtracked, apologized and said it didn’t fall with the rim touching the ground and she’d never serve me something that was dirty.
I’ve worked in food service for years, with multiple years of management on top of that. I know how dirty those floors can get, especially with how the weather has been lately. This is a health and safety issue, with how flagrant she acted I’m concerned she’s done this with other customers. I don’t want to get her in trouble for this but I feel it’s unacceptable that I had to ask for a new cup when she could have just grabbed a new one.
