Gem of a resteraunt nestled next to the capital lake here in the heart of Washington. Grilled octopus was amazing. Very much recommend

Love their newly updated menu! It has more Mediterranean flavors than the previous menu, and all the seafood dishes and cocktails we ordered were excellent.

The eggs Benedict with dungeness crab was excellent. They don't have a children's menu but you can get side dishes and/or a single pancake for little kids.

Looked online on Octapas website, so I already knew I wanted Shepards Pie, online price showed $16 so I was surprised to get bill for $18 (I didn't need to look at dinner menu at restaurant, already did online). Waiter that brought food out did not inform me that the bowl and handle, with Shepards pie, would be oven hot, burned the crap out of my hand (thanks for the blister). Husbands Cubano was not hot. Ordered a Sparkling wine, was $12 for French 75 (they don't even have that on the cocktail menu; random amount they entered?). Still not sure whether they offer dessert, not on any menu and wasn't offered dessert menu (if they have one); told by someone who had eaten there that they do serve dessert. Hostess was nice, our actual server was nice; server that brought hot bowl could have apologized for his error not informing me bowl was so hot. Food wasn't great. 26 year anniversary dinner, never needed to write a review but, super disappointed, mainly because of my hand (diabetic....don't need wounds, can become an issue).

Excellent food and service. Cozy casual atmosphere. We had a variety of small and large plates which we shared. Only minus were the oysters - came late, differed in size from really small to medium. Good taste but uneven appearance. Maybe it was because it was the day after Christmas.
Delicious food, accommodated allergies at the table, great server - fun dinner before the Nutcracker
We had a table of 6. Goat cheese tart was excellent, smothered burrito was good, crab cake eggs benedict were bad (eggs were border line hard boiled, crab cake lacked flavor and was burnt on the bottom. Service was poor and they automatically tacked on a 20% tip which we would not have paid. Will not go back.
