This place, located right in front of City Hall, leaves a strong impression as soon as you step in, with its coffee roasting machines and cupping room on display. The clean space is filled with the wonderful aroma of coffee. The coffee's taste is subjective and varies by personal preference, but I generally enjoy coffee with bright acidity, so it didn’t quite match my taste. However, the Matcha Latte was excellent. In the back, I noticed a Barista Training Center in the building. It’s definitely a place worth recommending!

Finely manufactured Coffee, with a convenient lobby for waiting for your coffee. I am sure the coffee here is top notch—I certainly have no complaints, though I'm no connoisseur. The people here have also always been helpful and polite, and the location is convenient and has a nice view. The vibe however is in my opinion pretty sterile and unfriendly. Hard wood seats, no decoration to speak of—to me it just says, welcome to the coffee factory; please enjoy your beverage and leave. In fact it almost seems engineered to discourage people from staying for very long. That's just my opinion, though. Others may feel differently.

Out of towners who stopped in for coffee and pastries. Wasn't too pleased with the service at all... everyone, including a homeless guy, was served coffee in dishware, but not us. Also, who serves pastries without utensils? I will say the coffee was tasty, but the atmosphere and service unfortunately overshadows it.

I was really hoping this place would be great. We walked in and went to look at the baked goods in the case, which was on the opposite side of the register from the entry, and was scolded by the gal at the register. She was helping the ONE other person in the "line" and felt the need to brusquely tell me the line went the other way. My partner tried to help me out, since I was on crutches, by picking up the small menu card to show it to me, and was told to put it back. There was one other person behind the counter who stood there in such a way that I had no idea if he was there to help customers or just there to look down his nose at them. This place is beyond pretentious. It is so unlike anything I have experienced in Olympia. People in Olympia are usually so nice. I only gave an extra star because the pastry we had was great. So if you want a good pastry served with disdain, this is your spot.

Great atmosphere as soon as I entered. The baristas were really nice and welcoming, which I always look for. They had a simple but neat menu, and they understood how to make a good latte. They roast their own coffee and they have an excellent variety of notes to choose from in their roasts. Highly recommend if visiting Olympia.

I really appreciate the sparkling water that comes with your macchiato. Nice touch! Makes me think they really do want you to get the best taste that you possibly can out of your coffee!
Parking: Pay up because this location is across the street from the police station and they will walk out and ticket your car!
