Very good food especially the sushi bar it's a little expensive when compared to all you can eat sushi at trappers just down the street but I think it's better sushi and a better environment. It definitely feels more authentic and less manufactured if not getting sushi they also have a great chicken teriyaki and their pan fry noodles are fantastic as well. So if you don't mind spending a little extra definitely choose this over the competition
We were not impressed and very disappointed with the new food and menu. The miso soup was very salty as was the teriyaki chicken and beef, which wasn’t very flavorful. The california roll fell apart. The deep fried roll (#4) didn’t seem to be cooked long enough and didn’t have a lot of flavor. They brought two dishes out first which left one of us waiting for their food while the other two were almost done with theirs. This used to be one of our favorite restaurants and I’m not sure we will go back again. The prices have also increased a lot.
Appears to have closed, as the website no longer exists. Another restaurant loses to covid. This was a very nice restaurant, if a little to find. Will be missed
Everything comes very nicely presented. I tried the sushi sampler, soft shell crab, amaebi and vampire roll. It was all very tasty and the nigiri is largely portioned. The environment is quiet and cozy, will definitely be back to try some more rolls.
The sushi roll (Tiger eye) was delicious!!! The Bento box was filling. It was not too crowded and the service was great!
Waiting for my wife to be delivered by Amtrak I stopped in to kill time. Sake, seaweed salad, and a few pieces of sashimi at Thurston County's first Sushi Restaurant. No Char Sui pork or ramen on the menu though...
WOW, I love Osaka! It's best to sit at the sushi bar and try a little bit of everything and watch the chef prepare it all.Everything is fantastic except the super white Tuna, tastes good but it is very oily, don't eat too much or you'll regret it :OI have to give everything a 5 star but the super white non-tunaEven the ginger ice cream was good.
Very nice waitress and the food was really good. Fatty tuna and tamago is my favorite and it was really good. We also had Mango and green mochi and it was really good. And they had a studio ghibli Playlist when we were in there and it was nice to listen to. Def. Will come back
Wow, this place is freaking amazing. I first started coming here a few times a week during 2002 and 2003. They were friendly, skilled, and of high-quality Sushi and sashimi. In 2021, I moved back and have enjoyed going back to this sushi restaurant almost weekly. Surprisingly, they still had my birthday photo on the wall behind the sushi bar from 18 years ago.I can wait until we can sit at the bar and hold a conversation with the chefs.
The amaebi was super fresh and succulent. The Ika had a nice fresh crunch to it's bite. The 911 roll was flavorful and fun. (I normally get 5 stars or more of heat on my food so don't use me for spice levels here)

Yesterday I had a pleasant dinner with my family. The sushi here is always fresh and delicious. Especially the salmon and tuna are fantastic. Next time I will have a meeting with my friends here. service is so friendly
Best Japanese food I've ever had, the sushi is top notch, and the people who work here are always so friendly. My family loves coming here, kids included
TERRIBLE. Just terrible. I shoulda known better than to order sushi in an empty restaurant, but I did anyway. And despite the spoiled flavor in the first bite, I gave it two more opportunities to not be terrible. Unfortunately, it only got worse. Thirty minutes after our food was delivered (well after the rest of my party was finished eating) the waitress finally returned to our table. She acted incredulous at my accusation that there was something spoiled in my roll and returned with the FULL bill. I wish I had enough cash to cover everything but the roll. STAY AWAY from this place with expired food and non-existent customer service.
Osaka is our favorite sushi restaurant in the area. But, they don't care about COVID protocols. The sushi chef rarely wears a mask, even as he's prepared raw fish for people. Servers sometimes wear masks, sometimes have them well down on their faces. It's too bad that the folks who run this restaurant don't care enough about their patrons to keep them safe. We'll not return until after COVID.
Sushi rolls are very good. Also a big fan of the takoyaki, it is one of my favorite foods and there aren't too any restaurants that have it.
