The basil chicken is outstanding. Fresh vegetables and basil makes this hands down my favorite dish. 😍

I got the Thai tea with coconut milk and tapioca. The tapioca was all cooked differently I could tell by all types of different consistencies. Also, the drink was extremely curdled and smelled of seafood!!

This used to be a great little Thai restaurant with reasonably priced, pretty healthy food. It must have new owners because now they charge 50% more, but instead of putting mostly meat and healthy veggies in the pad kee mao, it's mostly fattening noodles, a few vegetables for color and a little bit of meat. So disappointing to see another one of your favorite places go downhill by putting profit over quality.

I love Thai food, so I’m always game to try a “new to me” spot. Pad Thai Express was right next door to where I was having a blood draw. So, after 16 hours of fasting, I arrived with a hearty appetite.
The place has tables for inside dining. You either order at a self serve kiosk (debit or credit orders) or at the counter (cash orders). The restaurant itself is ok. Nothing to “wow” you, but it seemed clean, albeit a bit cluttered in the front with some boxes off to the side.
The order process was easy. I went with a fresh shrimp salad roll with peanut sauce and their garlic lover’s plate with chicken and white rice. The salad roll was fresh and crispy. Paired with their peanut sauce, which was delish, i give them a solid 5 stars. I would definitely order those again.
The garlic chicken was very flavorful, and with a heat level of 3, good enough to make my upper lip get a little sweaty. Just the way I like it. The veggies were plentiful, but a bit on the mushy side for me. I think a few minutes less on the heat would have been perfect. I give that dish a 3, just for the mushy veggies. The flavor was good, but overcooked carrots, broccoli and cabbage made me sad. The portion size was good. I had leftovers for later on! Not sure I’d order the garlic chicken again, though.
The young man who brought my order was pleasant, polite and quiet. The cook offered me a kind smile, and seemed nice.
Overall a solid 4. I will try them again and order something different to see if i can change my review to a 5 all around. Till then, a solid 4 for the restaurant.

For the past 8 years, this has been my go-to Thai place. The past two times I’ve been , the food has been off. This last time my curry was runny, the rice tasted old, there were fewer shrimp than usual, and the taste was not what I’ve expected. Something’s happened, and this restaurant is not as good as it used to be.

I really love getting Thai food here when its not too busy. Probably my favorite place for boba tea. They have always treated me with respect and I hope to someday enjoy the restaurant for the central place it has in the community. Their food is authentic and offers depth you can get without having to go downtown. I've only ever had their pad Thai, but their woks and smells are incredible.
But they get busy, so it's often good to go when the luck is high. Thank you for all the staff who have preserved this restaurant.
It means a lot they observe Sundays and always a great place for food when I need to get my studies done.

Used to be a favorite restaurant in West Oly. But, prices went up & food quality went down. Probably ate there for my last time. Give it a try though. You might really like it.

I love this place! I’ve enjoyed their consistently delicious food for years and it seems to only get better each time I return. They’re not afraid of a hot wok and the result in flavor is incredible. Order is always freshly made exactly as requested. Thank you Pad Thai Express!

I absolutely love this Thai place! It’s always consistent and the orange chicken is the best. I have eaten there or came and picked up orders to eat @ home. Every time it has been perfect!
Great place
Noodles were tasty but a bit dry. Not the authentic flavor profile you find in Thailand.
Mango stir fry and spring rolls were SO good. Loved the flavors and fresh veggies. The spring rolls were larger and crispier than other Thai places in the area.
My absolute favorite thai place in town. Their Tom Kah is incredible. Haven't had anything here i didn't like. Staff is always super friendly and quick
