This used to be a great little Thai restaurant with reasonably priced, pretty healthy food. It must have new owners because now they charge 50% more, but instead of putting mostly meat and healthy veggies in the pad kee mao, it's mostly fattening noodles, a few vegetables for color and a little bit of meat. So disappointing to see another one of your favorite places go downhill by putting profit over quality.

I love Thai food, so I’m always game to try a “new to me” spot. Pad Thai Express was right next door to where I was having a blood draw. So, after 16 hours of fasting, I arrived with a hearty appetite.
The place has tables for inside dining. You either order at a self serve kiosk (debit or credit orders) or at the counter (cash orders). The restaurant itself is ok. Nothing to “wow” you, but it seemed clean, albeit a bit cluttered in the front with some boxes...

For the past 8 years, this has been my go-to Thai place. The past two times I’ve been , the food has been off. This last time my curry was runny, the rice tasted old, there were fewer shrimp than usual, and the taste was not what I’ve expected. Something’s happened, and this restaurant is not as good as it used to be.
