Hear me out. This was such a fun experience and the atmosphere was amazing! They provide great service and the employees are super knowledgeable… This is where things get really upsetting. My boyfriend and I did our Valentines date here, drove in from Tacoma specifically for this place. We returned today to get our finished pieces and there was a huge misfire and we now return home with nothing. The employee was not the most helpful with this devastating news. We understand that accidents happen but wish there was an alternative way for us to have discovered the incident instead of making the drive down. We made the drive to just receive broken leftovers and that almost made the whole situation worse.

Great experience! Very friendly environment and large variety to pick what to pain! Only giving 4 stars because our brushes were shedding brush hairs and was hard to paint that way. Otherwise very happy and will come again, maybe bring my own brushes which is absolutely no problem :) thank you Painted Plate!

I love this place so much! The atmosphere is always lovely and there are many awesome things to choose to paint. The staff are friendly and always willing to help. 100% recommend for a fun activity with friends or family!

I have come here over the years and I've always had an enjoyable time. The staff is very friendly and helpful and it's nice that you can get some drinks and snacks if you would like. I came here recently for a girl's day and we all really enjoyed the experience.

There's a restroom if you need it. It takes a week to have them fire it for you, and be ready to pick up. You have up to 30 days afterwards.

Occasionally they have specials on gift cards or doing an date/kids/ etc event.

Had a good time with friends & family. Down side was they were super busy. we had a reservation and at the 30 minute mark for our time to end, they let us know . Totally fine. But with 15 minutes left they came and cleared the table and sat people at it when we were not done and my purse and phone still on the table & 5 out of the 7 we're still sitting down at the table and we're rude about it.

They lost my ornament I painted. They tried to give me a gift certificate for another figurine but I asked for a refund instead. But that does not pay for my 2 hours of time and it does not pay for my personal artwork that I put a lot into with the memories with my family. I am just thankful it was not my kiddos artwork.
They need to be more careful with pickups and making sure something is not taken nor lost. They told us this had happened multiple times this year.
From the reviews it seems this place is going downhill, unfortunately.

Always such a fun experience!! Everyone who works here is so friendly & helpful. The atmosphere is great & they also have so many snack & drink options--the moscato float with whichever sorbet they have on hand is my fave.

Super lame. I pay $40 for a mug and then when I pick it up, I see they slapped on my initials in ugly writing on the bottom when it’s a gift to someone else!

My friend and I tried this place out for the first time, and it was so worth it! There is a large selection and lots of supplies to use. You are only charged for the piece. The workers there are great so even if you are new, they can give you tips. We had Jen and she was absolutely amazing. So friendly and really helped make the experience. We'll definitely be coming back soon!

This was probably the cutest place ever to go to with some friends! bummer it's in a place that's a little sketchy.
We got there and it was a bit chaotic but that makes sense as it was a Sunday.
We made a reservation the day before and they were happy to have us. They welcomed us in and gave us a little sheet of paper as a "shopping list" for the pottery we wanted to paint. We got a mountain mug, a little mushroom, and a jewelry dish.
We were immediately met by a wonderful young lady named Katherine who helped us with what to do and how to do it. She allowed us to ask any questions and even offered drinks. The drinks we ordered were Pumpkin spice latte, caramel latte, and a Chai tea. I loved it. The only thing was that it took a little while to get our drinks but we were busy painting to actually notice.
They refilled any paint bottles we needed and had us pick up are things when they were done a few days later. They turned out absolutely beautiful! The colors were gorgeously vibrant and shiny and so so so cool to display. I love painted plate. Such a perfect place for anybody who has an artistic and creative side. (which I believe everybody does!) <3<3<3

I went to the Painted Plate for the first time. Poured my heart into my work for 2 hours. Then when I went to pick it up they said the side of it had touched the kiln and there was a little damage. There were FOUR big gashes in my figurine, they were each about 3/4 of an inch wide. You could tell they put some kind of putty in the damaged areas and reglazed it with clear glaze and refired it. It didn't help. It looks awful. And the gash on the top of it doesn't even have glaze on it, it's chipped off and the dry ceramic is showing through. They gave me a gift certificate for another figurine. But that does not pay for my 2 hours of time and it does not pay for my personal artwork that I put a lot into. They need to be more careful. If mine was hit in four different places it couldn't have just hit against the kiln, it had to hit other people's figurines too. So that means other people got damaged art work. This is their business! They're paid to not mess up people's artwork. They blew it!
