Pho Capitol - Asian Deli

The Trekking Pawns here! Lovely casual place to get your fix! Was so hungry we forgot to take pictures before hand. Got the pho dat biec and egg rolls. The food was good, but seems like it may cater to the area, the spices were toned down just a little, which is fine. What I do love is that even thought durian smoothie was not on the menu, they were willing to make it for me with real frozen durian (earned the 5 star!). I was so happy! The family that runs it also runs the grocery shop next door and it is such a fun place to browse and select goods that can’t be found in American stores.

It's a hot July day, we went to the Asian market connected to it and decided to stop in for a quick bite. I got the grilled chicken banh mi and 2 springs rolls,the chicken was delicious and flavorful. The spring rolls were the best I have ever had, you could taste every ingredient and you can tell they were fresh. 10/10 recommend.

For too long I made the mistake of passing this place by, which is foolish, because you know a Southeast Asian restaurant attached to a Southeast Asian market is going to be top notch for freshness and authenticity. Other reviewers have recommended their pho and banh mi and they’re not wrong. The papaya salad is also very good. While you’re at it, order the rest of the menu. (The lady working the register was kind enough to advise on portion sizes so I didn’t over-order.)

Amazing food, insane value, really peaceful and calming atmosphere and vibes. My first time here and already wanting to come back as I sit here eating my chicken Banh Mi and writing this!

I am a Vietnamese of Hanoi origin. When you want to find Vietnamese food to avoid missing Vietnamese food like me, I see:1- the bowl of pho was extremely large, I ordered a small bowl but still couldn't finish it2. The taste is actually more like noodles, the broth is too sweet so I don't really feel like pho. Well, there are definitely no coriander leaves, but it's not Vietnamese so it's okay.3- good service, Vietnamese people so I can speak Vietnamese. It's fun, it's fun.And I hope the shop will sell well tomorrow.

Whoa! This was laughably bad. I ordered the bbq pork bahn mi and I got one super thin slice of meat on each side of a baguette with a small/medium amount of pickled veg. I get that inflation is real, guys… just raise the price to meet the requirements of a worthwhile sandwich; we’re used to it and expecting it. But don’t make us waste money on something that wasn’t worth our time or money at all. Nobody won here.Crab rangoons had exactly no crab (even imitation).

I liked the atmosphere in here. Not a ton of vegan options but they honestly don’t have that large of a menu anyway so I didn’t feel like that was just from being vegan. I normally wouldn’t get a Thai dish at a Vietnamese restaurant but I was craving pad Thai so I got it with tofu. It wasnt the most traditional pad Thai but it was really good and made me want to try more dishes there!

The pho is some of the best I’ve ever had and I’m a pho feen. I drove 35 minutes both ways just for it.

Their pho is absolutely amazing. I have gotten pho from 15+ places across the US and this one is by far the best. Tastes just like authentic homemade pho! If you love pho this is the place to go !
