The sandwiches were decent but quite tiny and very expensive (like $17 with no sides just the small sandwich). I ordered herb fries for $3.50 and I received no more than 10 cold and chewy fries. It also took like 25 minutes for them to start trickling out sandwiches one at a time to our group. *See edit*
Edit: I’m not sure how to see replies or if its even there anymore but the manager replied to this review asking for feedback. I think that’s awesome! I want to elaborate briefly on my experience:
Soul cafe is a spacious cafe with cute decor and some really good food (I particularly enjoyed the Cubano sandwich). If I were to offer feedback it would be to either slightly increase the portions of meat and veggies in the sandwiches (I understand the food industry is becoming more expensive for all parties so a slight portion increase would be cool). And/or just a small handful of fries or chips included in the $15-20 sandwich price-tag would make it feel like a lot more value for the money.

As another reviewer clearly stated “Don't go here if you want to get your food.” We attempted to stop here on a road trip today. What should have been a quick 10-20 mins for a smoothie and sandwiches became well over an hour for just one tiny expensive sandwich. Most of the menu was unavailable and the service is perplexing. Even the numbers they give guests for orders have 2 different numbers on them.

I’ve loved this place for a few years now. I just tried their new location downtown and I’m throughly disappointed with the insane amount of time it took to make one sandwich and one avocado toast. It took 30 minutes. There was no one else in the entire cafe and two people were working behind the counter. I love the food I’m just disappointed when this should’ve taken fifteen minutes maybe 🤷🏼♀️

Popped in here after yoga next door, and I was very pleasantly surprised. Fantastic smoothies made with house made cashew milk. I also had the everything Avocado toast and it was delicious. They have a great, fresh looking menu. I'm excited to try more items.

Food: got a tempeh Reuben and TBLT; smaller portion size than I expected but still worth the price. Tasted great! We tried all the sodas and landed on the strawberry as our fave. Everything can be made vegan!
Service: my mom had a tough time reading the menu so the host gave her a full run down. Food came out promptly and with a smile.
Atmosphere: definitely recommend hanging out in the outdoor section during the summer, as it’s covered in plants, lights, and a fountain. Music sounded like I was in a yoga session instead of stuffing my face.
Dietary restrictions: Everything can be made vegan! I think they subbed the cheese with a vegan kind
Parking: Ample parking for anyone surrounding the restaurant
