I had their delish beet salad with fried chicken nugs and it was fantastic. What set it apart from any other is the Mama Lils peppers which add a lil spice. They make everything from scratch and it shows. Super tasty! And the White Wood Red Cap cider was crisp and tasted like apples - so good with food. I’d definitely go back to State & Central!

My second time here. With few exceptions no matter where you sit there is a cold breeze. This time the restaurant was almost empty (1:30pm) and I found a table for four with little breeze. I was almost immediately asked to move to a smaller table. The place was almost empty and the lunch rush was over. My patty melt on my first visit was good enough to draw me in again for another. Not sure which part of it was over salted, but it was close to being inedible. I want this place to continue to succeed, but someone needs to take the salt shaker away from the cook.

Always order the same thing… cheeseburger, fries with a side of blue cheese (tastes homemade) and splurge on an order of fried pickle chips because WOW, they are the best I’ve ever had and you get a huge platter of them for $8.75. I appreciate the quality and consistency of this order every time. The burger buns are moist yet toasted just right. Servers have perfect vibe of being friendly without hovering. Clean dining area and bathroom and best of all the option to eat outside. Absolutely love this little spot

Food was average, could have been better seasoned. Had the Fish n chips and the fried chicken.
Our server was good, attentive, and accommodating, communicated well.
The problem that I had was the attitude and energy of the other waitress there. Shortly after sitting, she went off on an elderly woman, berating her about something of a disagreement that must have happened before we sat down. However the lack of professionalism and the rudeness of the waitress was very disgusting. I know that customers are not always right, but they are never so wrong that an employee should get a pass full of disrespect. If it were my establishment, she would not be part of it!
