Lovely restaurant to to go to. The food, wine list and staff are wonderful as is the location! We've been twice now and will continue coming, more often if possible (all the way from the Seattle!) It's not THAT far....

My friends and I made a last-minute reservation for 6:30 pm on a Friday night. We were politely greeted at the door and shown to our table, which due to how late we made the reservation, was understandably in the downstairs wine cellar. The wine cellar is beautifully appointed, and we were seated next to a decorative fireplace, which kept us toasty warm on a cold winter night. We were greeted by our server Shannon, just a few minutes after being seated. She took a drink and appetizer order and we were left to catch up. Moments later Shannon arrived with our drinks and appetizer. She graciously explained my wine flight to me and then took our dinner order. Our fondue appetizer was delicious and was served with toasted bread cubes and cubed apples. Our entrees arrived shortly after we finished our appetizer, and we all commented on how delicious everything was. We even ordered dessert - an orange creme brulee, a slice of homemade fruit pie & ice cream and a piece of chocolate cake. Overall, we had a truly delightful meal ~ the perfect balance of courteous and attentive service, delicious food and drink and a cozy place to sit and chat and enjoy one another. Highly recommend.

My wife and I just got home from swing here on Christmas Eve. The ambiance was incredible with a gentleman playing live guitar. He was quite good and had a very versatile catalog. We had some good cocktails, a cup of wine flights. We had the duck, the brisket ragu, and the meatballs as an appetizer. Our server, Cierra was very sweet and attentive. The bartender made me a, Last Word cocktail that wasn't even on the menu, yet he nailed it. The entire staff, atmosphere, everything was just wonderful. Wonderful. An incredible experience for us on this Christmas Eve. Can't recommend these folks enough, and we can't wait to go back.

Our Christmas Eve tradition is to have an exceptional meal, a table with a view and JUST the right level of customer service...let us sip our cocktails before ordering to soak up the ambiance. Swing did NOT disappoint. Their wine list is impressive. The wine flights a great way to sample the offerings. If you want an incredible filet mignon, cooked just right (and wild caught salmon)...this is the place. Thank you for a FABULOUS evening.

5 star service and excellent food. The ambiance of the place was wonderful and romantic, which was great as we were celebrating our anniversary. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Food was exquisite. Huge shout out to our server, Seth. This young man was phenomenal. One of the best servers we have ever had. What a charming, thoughtful, and delightful man. The service was excellent.

I really enjoyed my dinner at Swing Wine Bar. I loved the fact that you could order a flight of wine, which was wonderful, and then select more glasses or a bottle of wine based on your individual preferences. The menu is great and is built nicely for plate sharing. Really wonderful experience.

This restaurant is difficult to find on a rainy night (perched well above the roadway) but so fantastic. Beautiful custom ,creative drinks, delicious soup (highly recommend the butternut squash) and daily specials, plus a seasonal blackberry cake which was top notch. Do make reservations as it's small. Excellent service as well, don't miss it if you are headed to Olympia. Disabled parking is right outside the front door (one space only)

Creative and excellent menu choices (We shared. A beet-chèvre salad. I had the brisket penne and my wife had the ahi. We ordered 3 deserts for the two of us (strawberry-rhubarb sorbet, strawberry-blackberry pie, brûlée). Food was wonderful as were the deserts. Great view of Capitol Lake also.

Swing is a unique dining experience in Olympia, overlooking the city, Capitol Lake and lower Puget Sound. Cozy, yet elegant. Wine flights allow for a nice tasting experience, and the sassily-named hand made cocktails are delightful! Both our entries were excellent, and so was the small plate appetizer. Lovely evening.
