i asked for a iced white mocha with EXTRA ice and whip cream on top and they clearly didn’t give me extra ice or any whip cream. i got a 20oz iced (biggest size they have) which is actually super small if you know pnw coffee stands lol. and paid 9$… the guy who took my order was very rude and when i handed him my card to pay he just pushed his screen towards me acting like i knew it was there.. Overall all i wanted was a yummy coffee and he was rude. Will not be here again. 0/10. Small space and even workers are rude. I walked in and was looking where to order because i’ve never been here and a worker goes “excuse me” in a very bossy way.. As she saw me just walk in. Definitely could’ve been more polite.

Grabbed coffee for my wife's birthday this morning. I got in there just after opening. Couple of young people were incredibly friendly and fun. We discussed shopping habits, and some light personal politics. They were patient, and thoughtful. They recommended a crowd pleasing baked good that will play well with my wife's latte. It's her favorite coffee shop in Olympia,Tumwater, Lacey. Great service, good eats, and incredible coffee. Can't recommend, The Owl's Nest enough.

The maple pecan scones are so ridiculously good I'm almost willing to drive the 4 hour round trip to get one. Legitimately the best scone I've had. Unlike many scones that are dry and bland this one was not too sweet but a perfect blend of maple and pecan flavors while also having the perfect texture. I'm going to be thinking about this scone all day now. My daughter loved the mint brownie too and she's not a fan of mint at all. The guy that made my coffee did a fantastic job making Starbucks look like day old gas station sludge. If I ever find myself in Olympia again, I'm definitely going back.

The Owl's Nest Coffee + Pastries is such a wonderful place to visit! I love the delicious pastries and hot beverages. I'd highly recommend this amazing coffee shop in downtown Olympia. Don't think, just head straight to Owl's Nest!

A cute little coffee shop. The barista was kind and got our drinks out quickly. Prices were fair and the atmosphere was cozy

I ordered avocado toast. It was a bit on the expensive side. Then I had a bite and thought this is not only the best avocado toast I've ever tasted, it's the best I could ever imagine. Seriously, this isn't sarcasm. I live in Kent so I've been planning ways to "need" to go to Olympia to have it again. Thank you! I thought the coffee was better than average, but I admit I'm kind of a coffee snob.
Service was pleasant, just a little slower than I would have liked.
The atmosphere wasn't bad, I just wish there was more room to move around.

Cute little coffee shop with really good coffee and pastries. My only complaint is the coffee is inconsistent depending on who makes the coffee. Go early if you want the good pastries. My favorite is their maple scones and I think it's called the maple pecan cookies. I highly recommend them even if you're just stopping in for a cup of coffee. Good customer service, good coffee, good pastries! Photos are from all the different days I've gone. Wish I had more photos of their pastries to share, but we always eat them up before we get our coffee. Parking is street parking which is metered parking, free metered parking on the weekends in downtown.

I was here with some friends this past weekend. I had the avocado toast, a breve latte and a chai tea latte. The service was great, the food delish and my lattes were perfectly made. This is going to be my new coffee place down town.
