Was driving through and decided to stop to try it out! I got a burger, fries and a strawberry banana shake. It was so good! I’m from California so for me it’s comparable to in n out and the shake foster freeze! Soo yummy. Also their sauce is so good!
Having been spoiled by places like In-n’-Out burger all over the west, Burger Landing in Port Hadlock and the now-closed down Norma’s Burgers Lacey, we’re quite discerning when it comes to a quality burger. Been wanting to try Van’s for a long time but hadn’t had the chance. They have limited seasonal hours primarily restricted to the summertime. Finally got a chance today. First of all, expect to be in line of cars for a while but apparently that’s to be expected...
So, I waited about 40 minutes in line. Apparently, this isn't unusual as they have t-shirts that say they "survived the line at Van's." I ordered the Big Pete burger. Which is basically a double cheeseburger with everything, onion rings, and a chocolate shake. The burger was worth the wait. Sloppy, savory, and delicious. The shake was both creamy and tasty.
