I visited this shop on 5/20 and ordered an iced coffee and a raspberry bear claw. Within two hours of eating the pastry, I became extremely ill with what turned out to be one of the worst food poisoning experiences I’ve ever had. The pastry tasted stale, and I didn’t even finish it — but the damage was already done. I was sick for an entire week, unable to hold down fluids, and nearly went to the ER. After reading other reviews, I noticed several past complaints about old pastries and poor quality control. This does not seem to be a one-off issue. It’s incredibly disappointing and concerning that there appears to be no accountability for food safety here. Additionally, the staff was not friendly or welcoming, despite it being my first visit. It’s also extremely overpriced. Between the poor customer service and serious health risk, I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Please be cautious before trying anything from this shop. If I were you- I would not consume anything here at all!

I'm very disappointed. This used to be a great lunch venue. I ordered a bowl of vegetable soup with bread. It was a thin tasteless broth with a few veggies floating init, lukewarm in a cup sized bowl (if I had ordered a cup it would have been a demi-tasse. The bread looked like a slice of white wonderbread (isn't it a bakery) my grandson's PBJ was dry, the crust hard. What happened to this place?

The service was so bad I left without ordering anything but coffee. I was there first thing when they opened. The display cases had a few things in it. I experienced some gender inequality as the male policemen that came in behind me were treated well. I had had some of there products from the farmers market that were over the top so I had high hopes for the actual bakery. It looked like a fun place to sit and hang out with a cup of coffee and a treat. The service soured it.

We came in and were halfheartedly greeted. I noticed a fly in the case where they store their pastries and pointed it out to the staff who, again, halfheartedly tried and failed to get it out. We quickly left after that.

Are European eggs green? Order had a simple mix up had to have it fixed no problem. New order took 20 minutes while it was slow only to be served grose tasting green eggs on breakfast sandwich. Which was on plain toasted white bread since they had used the last croissant in our last order. Not a great $35 coffee /breakfast. Free carrot cake was delicious.

Cinnamon raisin rolls are the best but unfortunately every time they have them they are burnt or look days on old. They used to be so good too. Something has changed. I would buy a whole tray if they made them like they used to.

Yesterday I picked up the most beautiful birthday cake for my mother’s 90th birthday. These folks knocked it out of the park! Asked them to just use the icing colors they had available to make it pretty…and glitter bomb it. It was stunning, everyone loved it! Thank you so much!🧁♥️ But, I have to add, I bought two berry scones which turned out to be fairly raw/doughy inside…not edible and got trashed. 💔

Legendary amazing pastries. The best thing of all is their cinnamon swirl bread. It is sublime. Great for toast or french toast.

I love their ranger cookies. It is the best of all the cookies I've ever tried. Coconut, oatmeal, chocolate chips, nuts.

Yummy cakes. Bread
