Zen ramen & sushi burrito

We loved this place! The food was very very good. The atmosphere was perfect for a little get away lunch. I would never have guessed how cool it is inside based on the unassuming outside.The music videos and upbeat songs were a cool touch. The decor included familiar anime characters around every corner. Like the Tardis is it seemed bigger on the inside. My husband was intrigued by the sushi burrito and was not disappointed.All the food we had was delicious, and came out quickly. We will be back and I would 10/10 recommend!

Love this place! Perfect spot for girls night, date night, whatever! So cute and yum.

I sat at the “bar” and the chef is really nice :) I didn’t know what things were called in the ramen because it’s my first time and he kept answering my questions.

I called twice to make sure they were open for Fourth Of July, got told they were both times. Show up, they were not 😔. I’m not too upset, it’s just a massive waste of gas to go and have them not be open when I was told they would be :T

The food was so delicious!! We ordered Katsu and Shrimp Dupbab and it was sooo delicious. The crispiness was perfect and even the atmosphere of the Lacey Zen made it so good. The environment is so cozy yet fun to just look around and the staff were so accommodating and kind 😊 Will 100% be visiting again and recommending this place!!

Mixed First Impressions at Zen Ramen & Sushi Burrito

I was genuinely excited to try this place after reading glowing reviews and seeing photos of the playful, anime-inspired interior. Walking in, I was greeted by a life-sized Naruto statue—an unexpected and fun touch that immediately set a welcoming tone.

Unfortunately, my experience with the food was more mixed. The tuna poke bowl I ordered had a noticeably fishy taste—something that shouldn’t happen when raw fish is fresh and properly handled. I debated whether to share this, as I really appreciate the concept and the energy the team is going for. But after giving it a few days to reflect, I felt it was worth offering honest feedback.

On a positive note, the edamame was outstanding—perfectly cooked, well-seasoned, and served in a generous portion. I’d love to see the same level of care and quality carried through the rest of the menu.

Fully remodeled from the previous restaurant. Very nice outside, plenty of parking. Inside the dining area is very cozy. Lots of wood and very Japanese style. There are booths and barstools so single esters will feel comfortable too. You order then sit. We had ramen and takoyaki. Good price for both. The takoyaki was crispy outside and creamy inside. Just right. The ramen was tonkotsu broth, and for me, seemed too bland. The additions were excellent. We had chicken tonkotsu and fried shrimp. The seasoned egg was particularly good. The ramen has too many noodles for me. I think I would ask for less. Overall, I recommend this place! Very cozy for our weather and the food is good. You will find something you like. Next time, 2 eggs, half noodles and double green onions with spice.
