“usually a cheap, good, and fast, transaction when we go through there but everytime we go for ice cream they already shut down the machines, sometimes as early as 9pm. ice cream is something people usually want at night I wish they would stop shutting it down so early.“
“I live near the Omak DQ. Omakians know there must always be a Dairy Queen in Omak. For 20 years (give or take) the DQ Grill & Chill Restaurant just off Highway 97 has been the Dairy Queen in Omak. I like our DQ, and I recommend it. The young staff is friendly, and they make good Blizzards and good onion rings--my favorites from the chilled & grilled menus, respectively.“
“When I come here it’s always around 7pm or later, and I have never had a bad experience. I have very high expectations, and most fast food places just never meet it.. sure this isn’t gourmet food.. it’s Burger King.. but the service however is always amazing. I always get my food fast, and today was the first issue I have ever had with this location and the manager did an amazing job taking care of me. I’m extremely pleased and love coming here!“
“Met friends on the patio of this restaurant. Since I had eaten previously, I did not go inside, but my friends did to order their meals (no outside waitress that I saw). There are picnic tables and umbrellas outside, very spacious and casual. My friends said their Hail Mary basket meals were fabulous — they did look so delicious.Parking: Gravel lot.Kid-friendliness: The kids we saw were happy to play in their space outside.“
“Stopped in today after Okanogan Harvest Fest for lunch around 11:30. The place was packed! The crew did an awesome job with how busy it was. We were seated at the bar and the waitress let us know it would be a bit since so many tables had just been seated. No biggie! She was back in 5 mins and took our order. She gave us a heads up it would be a while due to the number of orders, but that makes perfect sense when it’s a very small crew and kitchen. Frankly this isn’t a place to go for fast food, you go for good food. And the food was GOOD! It came out in a reasonable time as well. I wouldn’t have had it any other way.“
“They have a good menu and the food is never disappointing. One thing that needs improvement is the service. The tables sit dirty for quite some time and they do not acknowledge guests as they come in. Guests usually wait to be seated for a long period of time. Because of this, guests get frustrated before being seated. BUT, once seated it is usually a good experience and is what keeps me coming back. PLEASE! Get better at when we first walk through the door to make the experience from start to finish even better for BOTH you and us. Your food is great!“
