In town for work. El Portal was close to my hotel. I was instantly greeted. Staff worked together as a team - filling water, taking order, bringing out food. Chip service came with beans, salsa, and a cabbage salsa. I got the Chicken chipotle. It had a slight spice to it. Really good! I will definitely go back the next time I’m in town!
El Portal is one of the best places in Okanogan County. Maybe the best in the State. Very good food and plenty. The atmosphere is fun. It's like being at someone's house.
We ordered two classic margaritas, Chile Verde and Pollo a la Crema and they were phenomenal! Our server offered us samples of their pumpkin spice margarita which is the perfect mix of sweet and spicy. Best mexican food I’ve had in Washington so far! Definitely recommend
