Enjoyed a tasting flight based on my preference for sweeter cider and found an absolutely delicious cider (rose petals) that I bought two bottles of to take home. Others were getting small samples to make sure that was what they wanted to take home. The server was super helpful and cheerful also.
Lovely place to spend your time while you are waiting for the ferry. There serve great ciders and bears, a taco cart close by and burgers can be bought close by as well. Extremely friendly.
When you get off the ferry and see the sign that says "Hard Cider" with an arrow, torn right! Whether you've just gotten on then Island or you're waiting for a ferry, BoatHouse is a must stop! The ciders are exceptional in taste, plus they use local apples, and actual real ingredients for the flavors, not fake flavoring. Think real earl grey tea in the Bergamot or real rose petals in the Nootka Rose. This is sadly very uncommon in the cider world these days,...
