I always try to give credit where credit is due, and not only myself, but my entire family comes from the service industry and I am left speechless by the interaction we just had here with the front of house. We walked into a nearly empty dining area (we counted 3 tables being utilized) that’s fine, we wanted to go into the bar and asked if we could walk back. We were told, and I quote “um let me just check to see if there’s anything open in the bar.” We thought, okay, no problem. She came out confused and said “um there’s nothing available yet but there might be a 15-20 min wait and there’s a couple who just paid the tab and will likely be leaving soon.” So we said sure! She took our name AND phone number, and we decided to sit down in the entry way to wait. In the 5 minutes we were sitting there, we saw no less than 10 people come in sporadically asking the same thing, being turned away, when the hostess could have said “you know what? Come on in, let’s get you a drink and as soon as the bar opens up, we’ll get you back there!” It gets better. She walked up to us about 10 minutes later and said “something JUST opened up in the dining room!” She then proceeded to try to walk us back to the wide open (empty) dining area next to a table she just sat, and I said “oh no we were waiting for the bar….is that not an option anymore?” She then changed her entire story, said there were no tables available. I asked her what happened to the story she told me just moment earlier, the couple who was getting ready to head out, the space that was about to be open, etc. She stood there staring blankly at me as if she didn’t say any of it. We were stunned, and the table sitting right next to us could not believe it either. I said “never mind, we’ll go somewhere else.” We were planning on spending no less than a couple hundred dollars. Not only did we leave, we left Seabrook all together. As someone who used to train new restaurant staff, as well as manage full retail teams, I am gobsmacked at the incompetence. Especially when so many restaurants (including yours with the damn near empty dining room) is hurting for business. We will never go back.

Had the Fish and Chips with a cup of their delicious Clam Chowda, and ice cold Hazy IPA. It was amazing !!!! Highly recommend and dip the fish in the cup of clam chowda....you won't regret it. 😋

Just because you can open a restaurant doesn't mean you should. We spent approximately $40 a plate and the food was inedible. The fried cod looked amazing and perfectly fried, but it smelled and tasted overly fishy definitely not fresh and hope my husband doesn't get sick from the bites he took. I had the southern fried chicken but it was an overcooked chicken breast and some instant potatoes with garlic powder. The only thing we could choke down was the fries that came with the fish. Avoid this place and save your money!

A surprise!!! I had the BEST salad I've had in a long time, and I am a good cook. The dressing was flavorful, yet not dominant. The lettuces and veggies were an easily edible size and the variety outstanding.

We were in Seabrook on a Sunday right at lunch time so figured we'd wait awhile for a table for eight of us. We were surprised to be seated immediately at Rising Tavern and were skeptical since the place was basically empty. It's super modern and clean with nice upscale beach decor, not a tavern at all!! Our server was wonderful, super friendly and attentive but also very young and relatively new to the restaurant so wasn't super knowledgeable about the menu. He definitely made up for it with genuine kindness and impeccable service. The food was outstanding! We had everything from brunch to sandwiches and burgers, it was all amazing. The Corned Beef Hash stole the show with it's perfectly poached eggs and tender corned beef and the fries were a huge hit with the entire table! The biscuits and gravy were a bit spicy for our grandson that ordered them but a couple of switches around the table and everyone was happy! Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Nice little restaurant in town. The staff was nice, it was clean and I highly recommend the the clam chowder it was absolutely delicious, one of the best I have ever had. We ordered two the classic burgers one with fries, one with the chowder and two orders of chicken strips. The portions were good, food was hot, service was excellent.

Great vibe! Best burger ive had in a very long time. Pulled pork nachos will make your ancestors cry they are that good. My grasp on the English language isn’t good enough to thoroughly explain this place, just come.

Not sure if they were just having an off night but we didn’t end up staying for a table. On walking in we were met by the smell of bad fish. When we asked if there was a table available we were met by a blank stare. Then the person walked off saying they needed to ask someone but instead there was bustling and confusion over some other tasks. Another family that was waiting said they had been waiting for a long time for a table that looked like someone was supposed to be getting ready. We decided not to press our luck and moved on as things were getting very busy in this little town with limited dining options.

Called to ask if they had any vegan options and they said they currently have no options. The kale salad *might* be able to be vegan, but they didn’t sound too sure.

Food was delicious and Colby our waiter was great. Beer choices were good and they had plenty of seating. The chairs for the bar and high tables were not great and awkward.
