“Great atmosphere and wonderful sandwiches”
“Pacific Beach Resort is located on a bluff overlooking the ocean, beautiful views of the ocean, beach, and sunsets. A short drive takes you to the beach. We stayed in a pet friendly, King Suite in Building #113, the Sea Breeze, which is separate from the hotel. The suite was very well furnished and clean. And as a suite, the sitting / dining area and bedroom are separated. However, the building is not attractive and very outdated. The hallway and hallway rest rooms especially need renovation. And there was a very unpleasant, musty scent in the hallway. We were disappointed with housekeeping. Upon leaving our suite late morning, we met the housekeeper in the hallway. After a brief chat about dogs, I clearly stated we were leaving for the day and she could clean our suite. To our surprise, when we returned late afternoon we found the suite had not been serviced. I contacted the front desk receptionist. Since it was too late in the day, housekeeping was no longer available. Another surprise was the cafe was closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. When I made our 2-day reservation by phone directly with the resort, I specifically asked if there was indeed a restaurant at the resort as advertised. I received a confirmation but not told the cafe was closed on the days of our reservation. The town of Pacific Beach has no services except for a gas station and a pub. Fortunately, only a few miles down Rt 109 is the resort town of Seabrook which has a few restaurants and a small, grocery market. Except for these communication issues, we enjoyed our visit along the Pacific Coast and plan to return. Next time we'll leave the dog at home and try out the hotel or maybe a cottage, which look very nice, and be sure to stay on days the cafe is open.”

“Love the Cafe during the day! Great breakfast sandwiches and pastries. Frappuccino was right on time. We were looking forward to spending the evening in the pub. Drinks were good, nice mix of patrons and the music was on. It was sad that the bartender had plans with friends and closed it down early. We had family headed in to meet us and had to tell them not to come...would have liked to give 5 stars, but given the pub experience can only give a 4. Hopefully, better luck our trip.”

“I have a number of favorite dishes and appreciate the at home feeling of Rising Tide.”
“The current owners do not have control of this page. they are trying to access it. We stayed in A Shore Thing, the week before Memorial Day 2022. We have 3 kids (9,11,13) and it was the perfect smaller place that was dog friendly (our dog likes the beach more than we do!). The new owners are VERY open to suggestions, and I am sure they will iron out the minor kinks with a little time. The major kink (and this is a first world problem) was that the Hot Tub was not heating. Seabrook was aware of it but had not told us. It was disappointing. The flipside was that this place probably does not need a hot tub! We went to the pool which was a 2 minute walk down the lane. This house really is well located within the Seabrook development. Quite central in many ways, with a dozen different walking loops to enjoy. Seabrook itself continues to grow and be a great getaway for our family. Walks on the beach and way too much food. The options continue to grow. This time we enjoyed some fried chicken from Cookies food truck.”

“I was pleasantly surprised by this place! Been going to Pacific Beach for several years, found my way to the bar after noon on a Saturday Sept 2024.
Turns out this place is part of a resort - there's the bar, a cafe where you can also order food, gift shop, hotel (with that 80s hotel smell), clean bathrooms.
Got the fish n' chips, $14.95. Other reviews called them 'amazing,' I'd rate them as average. Not bad, just average. Pint of Manny's relatively cheap at $5.50, full range of fried bar foods and burgers.
I also got the chowder, which tasted like it was homemade, pretty good! 4/5, becaause it was too salty.
Given the area is extremely lacking in terms of food, and this place does absolutely nothing to advertise itself (no signage), it's definitely worth a try if you don't feel like spending $20+ for a burger up in Seahurst. Also, no worry about getting a seat.”

“Took my 95 year old mother here for lunch. The Pub itself is older than her, but well appointed and clean. We had no trouble with her wheelchair in and out. The Green Lantern staff, namely Austin and Mary made our birthday lunch a highlight of our day visiting Copalis Beach. They brought a candle out and sang happy birthday with us. Totally above and beyond great service. Oysters, a burger and chowder was all outstanding! Thank you also to the couple that paid our tab! The Green Lantern Pub made my Mom's day and ours a very special day! Thank you!! Stop by if you're in the area!”
