Coffee was great! Ambience is good - Seabrook is kinda creepy in general but it felt normal in Vista. Food was good except for the eggs - I'm not even sure what I would call them but eggs would not be it. I was really prompted to review based on the cleanliness of the bathroom. Small but important things like caked dust on top of the mirror, pink mold on the tiled backsplash and wainscotting that has not been wiped down left a bad impression.
Their system for ordering is not ideal. It was raining out and we had to order outside. They didn’t have a menu inside for us to decide and then walk outside to order. They could not warm up the ham and cheese croissant or cinnamon roll which is pretty typical for a bakery or cafe. Food was good enough, and staff were friendly. The experience of ordering outside in the rain and not being able to warm up food would make me pass in the future. Hopefully management will change their systems.
Five stars. Excellent sandwiches.
The egg salad sandwich ($15 which was very overpriced for what is is) gave me food poisoning.
Edit: they refunded my order which was appreciated. Thank you for that
The day before we ate at the bakery, we were at the tavern next-door and met the owner of the tavern. After talking with us, he told us his wife ran the bakery next-door. We decided to go there the next day and try out some baked goods. i’m glad he told me that the cinnamon rolls were made out of croissant dough, because just looking at them into the display window. I probably would not have bought one. But I really wanted to try a cinnamon roll so I bought one of those you need to ask for the cream cheese frosting it’s extra. We also got a Cruffin, And a Dubai chocolate croissant. We also got an oat milk mocha. We liked everything we tried at the bakery. My favorite was the cinnamon roll. My husband‘s favorite was the Dubai croissant. We got the coffee for my daughter who owns two coffee establishments and felt like it could’ve used another shot of coffee Other than that everybody was satisfied and would return again.
Best GF goodies! Consistently excellent baked goods! Their lattes are also wonderful.
Yesterday I got a Sticky Date pudding , and as the English aren’t known for good food, I was skeptical. Vista Bakery did it again, fabulous!
I so wanted to like this place - everything looked fantastic. Unfortunately, almost every item we got (and we tried a lot of them: focaccia, ham and cheese croissant, cronut, a couple of specials, etc) were all dripping in oil. It felt like you were drinking it when you got to the bottom half of the pastry. Otherwise, the flavors were awesome and the muffalleta would have been on point if not for that greasy focaccia. (The biscuits were great and didn't suffer from the grease issue.)
To add insult to injury, our order was mangled: I had to go ask for the focaccia before leaving but, alas, the lack of cinnamon roll was noticed too late (though we did get the frosting, so I know it made it into the process somewhere).
This place is the absolute best, who knew such an awesome bakery could be on WA's Pacific coast. The bakers clearly put a ton of their immense skill and expertise into their incredible pastries & bread, the coffee was great too. Don't miss this spot. Focaccia was the best I've ever had, biscuits were a 10/10 and the croissants were mind-blowing. Thanks to Grace and the Vista bake team for the delicious treats!

The service was awful. The Italian soda was a huge miss. The coffee was okay. The chocolate chip toffee cookie was great.
We were excited to support a local shop and left disappointed and certain not to return.
Dietary restrictions: The staff seemed to not know what ingredients were in various pastries.
Parking: Street parking is limited, so walking and/or biking is preferred.

Ham and cheese croissant was served cold, breakfast sandwich lacked flavor. Coffee was good, service was fantastic (best in seabrook).

Vista succeeds more as a bakery than a coffee shop. Our focaccia was divine but Italian soda syrup tasted cheap and artificial and hot cocoa was just okay. Also, it was the day after Thanksgiving and our server seemed like he couldn't shoo the customers out of the cafe soon enough at closing time. I've worked in service so I know the feeling but I still didn't like feeling unwelcome.
