We had some real hit or miss experiences with food while visiting Packwood. To our surprise, this little burger shack was actually some of the better food in town! Their sign didn't lie.
This spot is so underrated - it’s a MUST TRY. We wanted something different and tried a couple of other spots in Packwood so we stopped in here and it’s the best burger we’ve had in Washington so far. My husband said the fries were in the top 10 he’s ever eaten. Not only was the food outstanding, the service was quick and the staff very friendly. We were camping and drove through packwood. The reviews were spot on for these burgers being really good. They have hand smashed patties, pillowy softbuns, the tomato on them is perfect. They came out piping hot.
A Single is plenty enough hamburger meat. I got a double because I shared a patty with my dog. The french fries have a light crispy batter on the outside. Their fry sauce is tasty. We put our order in and then went to the grocery store and got some ice.
