Quaint little place, nice little town. Different kind of set up. Server yourself kinda deal. Gotta go to the bar and order plus retrieve anything like drink's yourself or condiments and boxes to go. Which is okay when expecting such as service but I wasn't expecting it so took me off guard. Food was pretty alright. Definitely would stop again if passing through.
Been here a few times. Each time has been a good experience. They make all the food from scratch. Sausage (yes, from scratch). Chips, from scratch. Fries, from scratch. Buns, that's right, from scratch. It's good eats with a full bar.
Great BBQ is hard to find, and Palouse Caboose ranks right up there with the best. It holds its own against places in Texas and Tennessee, and that’s saying something. BBQ itself isn’t complicated, but it has to be done on site, and they do exactly that. We’ve been here easily 25 times over the last couple of years, which should tell you something.
The Washington Apple Salad is good, though I’d personally dial back the nuts and ease up on the sugar....
