The chicken and sausage gumbo was deeply rich and layered with flavor in a way that genuinely transported you straight to Louisiana. The boudin balls were crispy on the outside and perfectly seasoned all the way through. Velvet's Big Easy is an authentic Cajun destination in Parkland. The chicken and sausage gumbo is deeply rich and layered with flavor, transporting you straight to Louisiana. The boudin balls are crispy on the outside and perfectly seasoned, and the boudain balls are fantastic. The hush puppies are spot on, not dry and very flavorful. The Crawfish and Shrimp Étouffée has just the right amount of spice, and the red beans and rice with chicken is so good. The beet greens with salmon and vegan meal options are also loved. The craw fish, pork chops, collards, and catfish taste like big mama kitchen. The seafood plate and fried chicken are phenomenal. The Beignets are good too. The atmosphere and service are amazing, with good vibes and live music entertainment. The team is nice, even near closing, with no rush. It is a great spot for a night out, a date night, or quality time with friends. Highly recommended.
