Drove for 1/2 hour only to find out they closed early. Would be nice to post it on Facebook if you're not keeping your regular hours. What a waste of time.
Solid American food. Best freaking Bloody Marys in town.

I'm going to be very honest. This is an incredibly mediocre restaurant, with busted furniture and greasy food. The staff were surly, and my guts have been unhappy for two days straight. I will never come back, and I will be sure to pipe up with my opinion whenever this place is mentioned.
We were told 'there's a booth near the back' and dismissed with a wave by a guy at the front who didn't seem he could care less. We went towards the back, saw only one empty table which was a 5-top and half booth/half table. We were a party of three, one of whom needed to do a bit of work on a laptop and I'm glad now we had the extra table space. Also, I'm disabled and really prefer chair seating so we settled in.
The same guy brings our waters and starts whinging on about how we sat at the wrong table, gestures to a tiny booth hidden along the windows (we literally hadn't seen it hiding over there) and that they usually save their larger tables for bigger groups. I politely said 'Oh I'm sorry I can't sit in that kind of booth' and gestured at my cane with an apologetic smile. He ROLLED HIS EYES and walked off with a huff.
The waitress was equally rude with a huffy attitude, snappy responses and literally never smiled even once. We were raised right, always say thank you and treat waitstaff with respect. We were very nice to her, and absolutely didn't deserve that behavior. She also just wasn't very attentive. Coffee went cold and a refill was offered just once. She never checked on our cocktails to ask about ordering any other drinks so my second drink was ordered damn near the end of the meal and I had to chug it down which was disappointing.
She brought our food claiming the plates were REALLY HOT and yet somehow all the food was lukewarm and the cheese on my omelet was already congealed. The mimosas were WARM, we had to add ice from our waters to get them chilled a bit. And they just weren't very good, weak pours and it was mainly orange juice rather than a real mixed beverage. If jam comes with the food, why the little jam packs on the table? The Bloody Mary was almost as expensive as my entire meal and it wasn't even that good. I got the voodoo version and despite all that seasoning, it STILL wasn't very flavorful of a drink. I also doubted the safety of the shrimp served on top, they seemed rubbery and weren't chilled so I didn't even eat them.
I had asked if the cooks could please crisp up my hashbrowns a bit extra, she said she'd try but they were "pretty busy". I looked around at a number of empty tables and it just really wasn't that busy there! I think she just didn't want to deal with it, and of course the hashbrowns came out undercooked and were 75% inedible. The omelet was overfilled with mainly minced ham and honestly not an ideal choice. It was like trying to eat tiny ham pellets and made for a poor dish. More veggies, and better quality meat would have improved things A LOT.
Overall, it was an overpriced and mediocre experience with disappointing aspects and absolutely not worth it. If a crap atmosphere and crap food and crap service all for a hefty price is what you're after though? By all means, this is the place for you. I won't be back though.
Oh - the onion rings were fairly decent. I did try a few from my fellow diner and they weren't super terrible. They were okay. And the water we got at the start was okay. So there you go.

It’s always busy and buzzing with positive energy! The food is delicious and the staff friendly. The only complaint is they get so busy we’ve had to wait our turn a bit longer than a toddler can handle but that to be expected with what they provide. Would recommend.
