A gem in the Tri-Cities! I've eaten here a couple times, both were fantastic. Biscuits and gravy are my favorite, but I have to add a side of hashbrowns too!

Food is delicious. Haven't made our way completely through the menu but this far nothing is so "standout" that makes you say "wow" after the first bite. This would include things that you might assume are on the menu as "standouts" or house specialties - like "Alans Eggs Benedict", a play on classic eggs Benedict with adding an avocado and replaces the English muffin with a small country or chicken fried steak. It's good, by no means bad, but the standout flavor is the perfectly NAILED hollandaise sauce (which is rich, creamy, with the perfect slight/light hint of lemon).
The coffee however would be the biggest complaint. 3 visits, coffee ordered each time, 3 different days of the week (one weekday, one Saturday and one Sunday). The coffee is bad. It's weak, bad flavor, and shockingly disappointing. One would think if the goal was a "roadside cafe" reminiscent of classic American with a modern spin and some updated classics . . . that the coffee would at least be something a farmer, rancher, blue-collar worker (like a construction worker like me) would enjoy or at least be able to drink. Having it straight black, w/ sugar or even creamer couldn't salvage it on all three visits. Almost puzzling how an establishment in the Pacific Northwest where we have some of the United States best "coffee culture", can regularly have such notably bad coffee.
If they fix the coffee and the wait staff let their personalities out a bit more (to make the service a bit better), this place would rank amongst some of the best in the greater Tri-Cities area. As it is, it's a good place that could be great.

I am a sucker for a small family diner. I can't believe this is my first time here. Great food! Memphis omelet was amazing, French toast was just the way I like it. Not sweet! Let the syrup do the work! Eggs cooked over medium had no runny whites, hashbrowns crispy on the outside soft on the inside! And the sausage patties were also cooked just right. Gravy didn't have meat but! Don't let it fool you. It's got an amazing flavor! Crazy good.
Service was fantastic! Never refilled coffee until cup was below half so I wasn't constantly remixing it. Very nice ladies.
Atmosphere, for a small place it's very clean and tables not sticky! Customers kept conversation volumes low so everyone could have their own private conversation. So nice to be somewhere, where customers and staff are all so polite! Great place to be. I think I distressed within the first 10 min. Will definitely be a repeat customer!

Ok let's be real - it don't look like much outside. But this place is EXCELLENT. The food quality is so good, you'd expect to be in a prime downtown location paying double the price. And they don't skimp the portions - the side salad is the size of a full salad at a "fancy" place. Inside is clean and well kept, you can tell they take pride in the restaurant. I'll be recommending it to everyone who flies in to visit the area. Ignore the sketchy looking location, Angel's Cafe is a diamond in the rough.

This is a nice, simple local restaurant to get breakfast or lunch. Easy to find. Plenty of seating and a menu that's big enough to find what you're looking for.
