Well this is a little strange. The sign outside says King City Restaurant. Also above the side entrance is a sign that says Sports Bar And Lounge. I went in the main door so could get something to eat. You get inside and there is a sign that says "Diner closed. Bar open with menu. Um, OK. I walk into the "Sports bar" there is only 2 people in the place. On a Friday night? There are 2 televisions in the place but no Sports of any kind. Some 80's movie. What? Start to sit down at a table and the waitress says would you like a menu? Sure. That's when I find out I'm actually in a Mexican restaurant. What the heck? How about some proper signage on the building. Now that we have established what kind of restaurant I'm in I have one question. Where was the Chips and salsa? None at a Mexican place. Took away 2 stars for all of the above. Besides all that the food was good and so was the service.

Freaking outstanding Mexican food. Great flavor! Clean environment! Excellent service! Truck parking, too. Was here overnight, so I ate dinner and breakfast. Both meals were delicious.Parking: Free truck parking!

Old, no customers, and the musty smell should have been warning enough. Food tasted weird - chemicals, old? Not sure. Thought waitress would ask why we hadn't eaten anything, but she seemed to actively avoid us instead. She also mixed up order and charged me $26 for ceviche that I thought cost $8. Didn't take ANYTHING home. Didn’t ask for any consideration. Not in the mood for confrontation. And to top it off I paid $4 for a Pepsi too flat to drink. So $78 for GROSS food and bad service. Never again.

We drove in from Idaho craving Mariscos, So we stop at Garibaldi restaurant. When we walked in the restaurant it was empty and smelled dirty. Figured we give it a try since the reviews said it was great. I ordered the cocktail de camarón and ceviche. My cocktail de camarón smelled expired and tasted horrible (definitely expired). I would not recommend this place to anyone.

So I’m a semi truck driver. A lot of places are hit and miss This is not one of those places. It is a 100% diamond in the rough you owe it to yourself to have the seafood. The chef is retired and chose to work here to live out a passion it shows. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE LOOK.
Over price you buy a burrito they add way to much rice and lettuce and bean hardly any meat you tell them no rice they filled it up with lettuce and beans onions few pieces of meat made really sloppyAnd the taco are worse..I paid 24.83 for two burritos the i won't ever buy from there again and I will let my friends and family know not worth to go eat here this has happen a few times.. This place used to be great when it was Garibaldi's, now that they are Desert Heat they are awful. I have never had such rude customer service from any business. They overcharged us and would not refund us. They claimed their menu did not have the new higher pricing!!! What the heck? Isn't false advertising illegal, they didn't seem to care, and they also charge you to use your debit card.

Good prices and big portions. Got a birria plate and it was pretty good to be from a restaurant. A lot of locals and truck drivers attend this place, customer service is good and food is on point. There’s truck parking all over the place as weed as truck washes.
