People travel to Thailand, at least partially, to eat Thai food. I did. I LOVE Thai food... I've been on a quest to try to find authentic tasting Thai food locally...but, no luck ..... it's all Americanized. The food at Sawadee Thai is unfortunately a classic example of this very phenomenon. Its good, but its not authentic tasting Thai food. I wish local Thai restaurants understood that if you make it authentic, people will love it.

We have been eating here for years and the food has always been amazing! It is still really good except the peanut sauce recipe has changed and the new recipe is not good at all. Please switch it back to Jerry's recipe. It was a lot thicker, with lots of peanuts. The new sauce is very runny, not many peanuts, and is very tangy or vinegary.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE service! We ordered from Door Dash. They sent us the wrong order. Called them and let them know. We had to go pick it up. He didn’t believe we received the wrong order. Brought in the order and would not do anything to make it right. No discount nothing added. I will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. First time and last time.

We have enjoyed several delicious meals from this great Thai restaurant, and the lunch we just had was no exception. I had the Pad See Eew Noodles with chicken and my friend had Chicken Pad Thai noodles . We also shared a Fresh Roold appetizer. We were able to ask for a 1 or two level of hotness to be added to our entrees. The food was made fresh and came out very quickly. We were stuff full and ate our leftovers for dinner that night!

The people who run this place were very nice and sweet but as far as everything else goes, was not very good. We got a total of 5 dishes; teriyaki chicken, orange chicken, beef pho, cashew chicken, spring rolls and pad see ew and we were all disappointed unfortunately. Each plate had something that just wasn’t great so we won’t be going back.

The food here is overpriced for what you get. We tried here a couple times, but decided to start going somewhere else.
Unfortunately I did not like the sauce they used for their pad Thai noodle dish. I also got the duck which was $5 more and I got maybe four pieces of duck in the dish, barely any vegetable and mainly just noodles with very little sauce that was very tart. Not what I'm used to when ordering pad Thai noodles. Usually pad Thai is more savory soy based with seasoning. This was very very tart and bland, I was very disappointed and threw the rest of the dish away. I also got their mango sticky rice. One of my favorite desserts with Thai food. The mango was overripe kind of even brown. The coconut sauce was good and their rice was very cold and it broke apart it wasn't even sticky normally mango sticky rice is very warm and sticky Unfortunately I probably won't go back to this location for my Thai food fix.
