“There are few places with a host like Don at Icicle Ridge Winery ... not only does he personally meet each guest, but he tries his best to make them feel welcome and appreciated. Pair that with a double-gold blackberry wine and you'd never know a full "house" (okay YARD) came out in triple digits just to hang out with us! As soon as the sun kissed the hills goodnight, we were dancing with grass between our toes. Thank you to the Icicle Ridge staff. “I’m from Florida, and my friend and I decided to take a Christmas trip to Leavenworth, one of the most visited destinations. We had reservations in December for a wine tasting at Patterson Cellars. Unfortunately, Leavenworth was hit by severe flooding that affected many people in the area.

Despite the circumstances, we still decided to come. Even with a power outage, Austin, our wine server, went above and beyond to honor our reservation and provide a phenomenal wine tasting experience completely in the dark, using only a few flashlights. The tasting was originally scheduled to last one hour, but Austin stayed with us for nearly two hours, even though he was about to close the doors for the day.

Although we didn’t get to experience Leavenworth at its best, we were extremely satisfied with the amazing service and hospitality Austin provided at Patterson Cellars. We will definitely be coming back again.“
