HOLY BABY HECK!!! This place is so dang good! Been all over the the US for rib cook offs and what have you. This place is up there! I love when the food is gone, it's gone for the day. So get it while you can if you're there for the day. Do yourself a favor and stop in! You will leave happy and well fed!
I just tried this place for the first time and it was AMAZING! The pork was so fresh and juicy and the baked beans and slaw were top 3 I've ever had. The owner is so sweet and clearly takes a lot of pride in his business and food. So glad to have this in Port Angeles!
I'm from the south east. I moved to the PNW recently and I've been craving real, southern style slow cooked BBQ. This is the closest I've come to finding that smoky, woodsy flavor that Ive been looking for. I had the pulled pork sandwich with beans, coleslaw and the corn muffin. The beans are good, but could use a bit more brown sugar (they are vegetarian so no bacon). The coleslaw is pretty standard, but not bad (and bad coleslaw is the worst so this easily passes...
