I'm not sure how this place got 4.2 stars but I can tell you that after having gone there twice, they've had great service and great food both times. The portions were way more than enough and everything was so fresh!! The fish and chips were on point, lightly battered and with huge chunks of fish. The tarter sauce tasted homemade, so food. The fries were also delicious. The servers were great and the atmosphere was awesome. I'd go back a third time if I lived there!

My family of 6 stopped in while staying in Port Angeles. We were seated right away and had great service. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food, especially the fish and chips and the chowder in a bread bowl!

When we arrived, they were very busy. They told us to be about a 20 minute wait and I thought that they would be 40 minutes early, but they seated us in less than 20 minutes. We had a very delicious Christmas salad and the Baja tacos. I highly recommend The Baja tacos the sauce company. The salmon was absolutely outstanding. I would eat here again.

The food and service was amazing, I only wish that the menu had all the ingredients listed under a dish after overhearing the table next to us ask the waiter about the salmon chowder (which I should've done and will do going forward) and realizing it had bacon bits in it. The chowder was great, I ate it all before knowing.. idk if all chowders have bacon in it, but I don't eat red meat and would expect it to be in the name.

Best clam chowder I’ve ever had! (And I grew up on Cape Cod, Massachusetts). Fried fish tacos were also so amazing.

We are here when this was a BBQ restaurant and it was just ok. Now that it is a restaurant which features fish it’s amazing!! It’s fantastic that they have ala carte as well because we like to share and when we have fish and chips we can order a two or three piece and add a piece of fish. The cod - beer battered - is fresh, light and delicious. Chowder was really wonderful and the cup ended up being a small bowl. Staff is friendly and attentive. Couldn’t ask for a nicer dinner and wow it was fast service too! We’ll done!

Horrible seating experience. We had a group of 12, and specifically stated we were happy to split into 3 groups of 4 people each. Instead of seating us at the open 4 top booths right in front of our eyes, they told us we would have to wait 40 minutes because if they sat us “everyone else who came after would have to wait” … which is literally how restaurants work. Condescending general manger then lectured us about how restaurants work. Food also mediocre and greasy. Avoid this place

I’ve been coming to this pub every year when I visit my mom. I’ve only ordered the soft shell crab Sandwich which I found amazing the first time I ordered it. I was there again yesterday for my annual sandwich and it didn’t disappoint. Fries were also delicious.

Service was extremely slow—3 other tables that arrived after us received their food before us and our server and the manager were unapologetic. They handled the situation very poorly. Food was decent but portions were meager.

4.5 stars to be accurate.
Their clam chowder is better than Ivar's, I kid you not, but you be the judge. The missing .5 star was for the gal that served us in the bar area. She was attentive, timely, and friendly, but she engaged a little too much for our liking.

If you want something different, we loved the dungeness crab and shrimp melt! Fish and chips and their chowders are great too. We sat on their tiny outside deck, but got the 2 stools that faced to the water. It was fun.
