Date7/8/2025. Up from Wyoming. Drove into Port Angeles just for lunch. Ordered the salad with Dungeness crab and shrimp. Sent out only shrimp no crab. Asked hostess, all kitchen had to say was we don’t have crab today. $42 dollar salad after back and forth we ended up paying $20. Disappointed. Over priced .

Originally we were to sit down and dine in, but we ended up taking out. The staff was great and even though they were very busy due to the graduation happening they accommodated us very fast. The servers were bust and one of the managers came and took care of us, he was super friendly and very helpful. Great recommendation from him. We had the oysters and crab cakes. The salmon was delicious 😋. Everything was seasoned so well we were happy, we look forward to coming again and getting to sit down. The place looks very clean and lots of space, with seats downstairs and upstairs, the bar and wine selections were great.

The service is great, but the food quality is mediocre. The fettuccini and fish taco are both too salty with undissolved grain on top

Monday night traveling through the area. Looking for a good seafood place and this was recommended. Food was outstanding! Service was not. We didn't have a reservation, but the front of the house was able to seat us. Waitress arrived quickly enough and took our orders. Drinks came in a timely manner. Then things went downhill. Soup and salad came quickly - but then... while still eating the appetizer, up comes the first course (oysters), while still eating the app, here comes the main course! As you can imagine we now have a lot of plates on a small table. 1 - No one wanted to notice even though numerous folks walked by the table. 2 - No one came to remove the used dishes even though they were piled up on the small table 3 - No one came by to ask how the food was 4 - One of the main courses had the wrong side included, but who could we tell? 5 - Multiple people walked by, no one acknowledged anything 6 - No one asked if we wanted more drinks throughout the meal. 6 - Finally, when we were finished the waitress showed up (1st time since taking the order). Never asked if we wanted dessert, just asked if we wanted the check. Clearly they didn't want us as Customers- really no reason for someone outside of the area to go here. And, it's a shame, because the food really was excellent.

Awful service, we had a reservation and was seated immediately but we waited FORTY MINUTES for our orders to be taken after asking twice. None of the waiters seemed to care at all or even look at us. Awful also for the price point they were charging. Do not attend ever.

We had a reservation at this restaurant and we STILL had to wait a long time and even though we had a reservation they didn’t save a table for us and gave us the worst seat there is, food came out in 47 minutes pretty slow but the food is pretty good. But one bad thing about the food is it’s SO salty, especially the salmon they put way to much salt.

They have a fantastic front & back of-the-house staff; i’ve eaten almost everything on the menu, and my favorite is definitely the stuffed halibut or when they have the fillets or ribeyes on special! The fresh sheet changes roughly every 11 days so you get 3 to 4 new specials. I always thought it was cool to work for a restaurant that constantly changes up their menu items. It truly was an honor to be a part of this team while it lasted but I won’t be sad when they sell it

Vegetarian options: they have a really good Santa Fe salad, but they specialize in seafood so there’s not a lot of options, but you can always have like a s, and maybe the soup of the day might be tomato bisque. It’s just all depends.

Dietary restrictions: They take allergies very seriously. whether it’s gluten-free soy or dairy, even garlic or salt and pepper, it doesn’t matter they take every allergy very serious and will not it on the ticket.

Parking: The paid parking lot is actually free, and you can always park there for no charge.

Kid-friendliness: They have several different kids' menus that come with crayons. Kids can get cheeseburgers, grill cheese, chicken strips, fish, chips, and sides the adult menu too

The food and ambiance are excellent, but we’d like to say a big THANK YOU to Allen and Sterling for the hospitality they showed us. We walked in about 5 minutes before the kitchen closed (not knowingly) and they showed us warmth and hospitality. Allen offered to course our meal out, and even stayed to serve us dessert. We know they didn’t have to do that and are so grateful. We will be back!

Our favorite place for fine dining when visiting our family in Sequim. It's been consistently good.

I had the surf & turf and the bartender made me a non-alcoholic prickly pear margarita. Both were incredibly delicious. The services was great and food amazing which came out fairly quick. I went back twice on my trip and will be back the next time I’m in Port Angeles.

My wife and I had a very upsetting experience at Kokopelli that seemed to involve subtle but clear racism. When we arrived for dinner, the hostess, who had red hair and tattoo on her arm, asked us to provide IDs to prove we were over 21 before we could be seated near the window due to their policy. I showed my ID, but my wife had left hers in the car, so she went back to retrieve it.

While I waited in the lobby, another couple—who happened to be White—arrived in the same situation. The husband had his ID, but the wife did not. To my surprise, the hostess guided the husband to go upstairs and be seated first while his wife retrieved her ID. I, the only Asian person in the room, was left standing there, ignored for the whole time. When my wife returned with her ID, we were finally brought upstairs, only to find that the last window seat had been given to the White couple.

This experience made us feel like we were treated differently because of our race, and it left a bitter taste in what should have been a pleasant evening. I hope Kokopelli addresses these disparities and commits to treating all customers fairly, regardless of their race.
