The hotel's computer system went down, so I came here for a bite and a drink. The crab Mac & Cheese is fabulous, and the portion size is huge with lots of crab in the dish.
48 Degrees North is attached to the Red Lion hotel. We were there midweek so there was a smallish crowd and it was cooler so using their outdoor seating was not an option. Nice view of the water. Food was decent but not great. Service was very friendly and fairly prompt (server was also the bar tender that night).
Our server was friendly but it took quite a long time to get our food. it was during happy hour time and it seemed we we were out of sinc since we odered regular food. For the price I expected a little better service and maybe enough butter for my baked potato. I expected some sour creme but was never offered any. had to ask for more butter. the view of course of the harbor was great but we chose to leave the area for our next meals. I would not be recommending this place...
