This place has so much potential but falls short. The fish and chips was extremely over priced for two tiny pieces of dry halibut that had no batter! This wasn't described and was very disappointing, especially for a restaurant that serves mainly seafood. The fries, however, were some of the best I've had. The decor is old and tired and being from out of town, we felt like outsiders with the server who was much more engaged with the locals, who he appeared to know by name. Overall it was just OK.

The fish & chips were very good. The seafood stew was not as good as it was when I had it last year. For $35, I expected more seafood and fewer potatoes. Mostly potatoes is not what I ordered seafood stew for. Too bad.

Can't wait to get back here...My dad took us to this place after we arrived on the ferry next door.I'll admit it's not much to look at and I was tempted to ask to go somewhere else, but now I can't wait to go back. The main reason to come here is hiding on the bottom of the second page of the menu: THE SEAFOOD STEW. I'm serous - do not miss out on the opportunity to order this meal. There's also a video game arcade next door if you want to kick the kids out for a bit while you unwind.

Cleanliness severely lacking. Owner sat on his butt instead of cleaning. He was only one on the floor. Table tops very dirty. To bad cause food was good and great views.

Nope, wouldnt recommend this place! There was no one in the place when we went. I asked my gma where she wanted to sit and she suggested a booth by the windows, when I was deciding on what one to take, the old bartender snapped at me "they are all dirty, give me a chance!" As he was holding up a rag to wipe the table. Like there was anyone in the place to begin with... After we sat and ordered, we started to notice how FILTHY the place was. I looked at my family and said "I don't even want to think what the kitchen looks like." So we left.

Great lunch here! Normally, I'd take a picture of the food before devouring it, but we were so hungry I forgot ?We got the fish and chips and coconut prawns. Both were delicious and cooked perfectly! Our server was an older gentleman who was very friendly and took care of us quickly.Glad we stopped here for our quick lunch. Thank you!

Despite being staffed by just one worker, we had a very enjoyable dinner here in September. The food (salmon, reuben) was very good, the service was good, and it was reasonably quiet. Views over the water were nice a well. Solid choice for dinner in Port Angeles.

The old man at the bar upstairs is very rude. The other reviews also note this but, clearly management/owners have not said anything to him about it. Also all the open tables are dirty. Everyone’s acting like they’re slammed but they have 3 seated tables. I would really hate to see what the service is like if they’re actually busy. Go to the burger place across the street.

My wife had Halibut and I had a blackjack burger. Burger was great tasting. Fish wasn't really fresh but good tasting. Would have rated a 5 except like everything else around the park it was expensive. We both had water. The Halibut small order was $31 and the burger and fries were $19 for a told bill of $54. Thank God we don't have to eat out very often in Washington. I bought a tank of Diesel yesterday for $177 and I hope it gets me out of Washington.

Came in and was told over the phone I could watch a particular football game they said they had it on already. So I rushed over. They denied ever receiving the call and could not have been more rude and cruel if they had wanted to be. I would NEVER COME HERE AGAIN THE ATMOSPHERE IS MEAN RUDE CRUEL. TWO LADIES ON STAFF THAT COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE RUDE WHEN I ASKED IF THEY COULD TUNE IN A FOOTBALL GAME!!! Warning don’t ask!!!! I WENT UPSTAIRS TO THE RESTAURANT ABOVE THEY PUT THE GAME ON AND COULD NOT HAVE BEEN FRIENDLIER!!! I will be back to the upstairs restaurant with the best ocean view!!!

Lovely spot right next to the ferry. So easy and nice to walk over and have a meal before boarding. Great and friendly service with tasty food. Would definitely return.

Food was pretty tasty, specifically the deep-fried pickles and sweet potato fries. It wasn't particularly tidy however, so we ate outside. We would totally go back again.

My husband and I were in town and decided to stop in and get a bite. This was a mistake. I asked for shrimp cocktail and side of fries, and he ordered an Oyster Po’boy. Our order came out quickly enough, but upon trying my shrimp I noticed it was warm! I’ve never experienced warm shrimp cocktail. I took about two bites because I’m not a fan of warm shrimp. My husband said his Po’boy wasn’t good, but he was starving and ate it. Both of us liked the fries and the bartender/waiter seemed nice enough. The pub however was filthy. There was napkins and straws all over the place behind the bar. We should have just left. Ugg I hate being hungry in unfamiliar places.*You’re already turning customers away because the bartender said twice when we were there, they weren’t seating anyone for 30 min. But that’s here, nor there. A restaurant should be kept clean regardless whether or not there’s a labor shortage.

The first thing I noticed about the restaurant was how unclean it seemed to be. The waiter, which other people have commented on, was unfriendly and gave the impression he did not want to wait on us even though we were about the only people in the restaurant. I watched him pick up dirty dishes right before our order came out. Without washing his hands, he served our meals. He touched and picked up every bun on the burgers and sandwiches to see what they were before he served them. Disgusting. I ordered the Reuben sandwich and can not believe that it came out both greasy and dry. We will not be going back there. Disappointing. It could be nice but when people don't care it shows.
