Butcher & Baker Provisions Reviews
Oh how we love this wonderful place! Just did a Mother’s Day stop by and picnicked like royalty. Highly recommend to anyone of any particular taste, you will find that moment of bliss all seek, Mmmmm! Thoughtful fresh ingredients, carefully crafted.
We went for a sunday morning meal, but didn,t stay as nothing on the menu inspired. We did pick up a couple of almond croissants on our way out. They looked yummy but turned out to be heavy and bready under the beautiful exterior and without enough almond filling. I could have bought 4 or 5 nice baguettes for the same price.
Get the pork chop! It was AMAZING!

Butcher & Baker Provisions in Port Gamble is a lively cafe offering a variety of baked goods, sandwiches, burgers, and poke bowls. The staff are friendly and quick, ensuring minimal wait times even during busy hours. The poke bowl is fresh and loaded with cabbage, avocado, rice, and well-seasoned tuna, though it may not be entirely authentic. The café is known for its impressive pastry selection, with treats like the highly praised coconut chocolate cake, moist almond raspberry cake, grandma-style strawberry shortcake, tart lemon bar, and creamy lemon cheesecake. Vegetarian options include falafel, but customers are advised to call ahead as choices can be limited and sometimes lack protein. The cafe has ample parking and a kid-friendly outdoor patio with picnic tables that can feel crowded in winter due to limited seating. Visitors often enjoy the outdoor seating, although it offers little sun relief compared to the inside. The welcoming atmosphere, vibrant feel, and generous portions make it a popular spot, especially after outdoor activities like hiking in nearby trails. Many stop by on their way to Olympic National Park to stock up on baked goods, boxed lunches, and hot coffee. The charming, nostalgic setting adds to the overall experience, making it a must-visit for those with a sweet tooth or looking for a hearty lunch. Plus, the outdoor tables are dog-friendly, making it a great choice for pet owners.
