Great place to stretch your legs after being on the ferry. It's a fun place to find that little something for someone special. You need to check out the shell museum upstairs. Great for the person who is not a shopper. Then, in summer, you need to check out the Pope Talbot museum in the basement. It is small, but it is worth checking out.
The gift store is what you'd expect. The cafe had some delicious coffee and food; the turkey sandwich was fabulous! And after you've eaten, and you're still sipping your coffee, head upstairs to see the shell collection, which is incredibly impressive.
So adorable!!! It felt like I was in a willy Wonka christmas shop! Such a good selection of ornaments with themed trees! Went for the tree lighting/ fireworks. BEST in and out holiday event so far! 7-8 min firework show too! Very cool! I loved the historical buildings. Have to come back in the daytime!
