There’s two kinds of restaurant owners. The first one cares about the quality and integrity of their food and charges accordingly. The second is out for a profit and buys the lowest quality food, while charging top dollar for Sysco food. Unfortunately this restaurant is the latter. Don’t mind paying good money for food, but this food was awful. The tragedy is this restaurant is surrounded by numerous organic farms but willingly chooses to buy cheap industrially farmed junk.

This is such a fun place to eat! A friend and I just found a place on the map and went and was pleasantly surprised. The menus are albums, and they have hats all over that you can wear! Great food and service also.

Amazing dinner tonight. The crab cakes were delicious. The best I've ever had. Yes spendy but so worth it. Also experienced the seafood stew. Every morsel cooked to perfection. If you love food prepared to perfection, and atmosphere to fall in love with, this is the place to come. Worth every cent.
We have been longtime patrons of the Ajax. We dined there tonight for the first time since the new owners have taken over and all four of us were extremely pleased with our entrees. For the quality of the meal and the beautiful presentation, we found prices to be quite reasonable. The host and our server were both very friendly and welcoming and we were promptly seated and served. The place retains its original charm and ribs are thankfully still on the menu. We will definitely return..cheers to the new owners!

Local friends took us here for dinner. Husband and I shared a big delicious bowl of cioppino, full of shrimp, clams, & scallop. It came with a nice, crusty herb bread. We also shared a side great salad.

We used to love Ajax cafe and it felt like a treat coming there.
Today was an exception. Prices went up and the food we got lacked taste and quality. I ordered a sea bass special and my husband ordered a tofu steak. My 36$ sea bass was so dry, it felt like chewing a rubber boot. It was served on top of undercooked beans. After I told the server that it was dry she didn't apologize, but said she will tell the cook. The tofu steak my husband got was mushy and tasteless. We ordered a peanut butter pie and it was a mediocre cheesecake. The bill was 90plus $ with tax ( no drinks) which was a complete disappointment. After coming here more than 12 times we are not planning to come back. What a shame!
