This was the most tender Carne Asada I have ever had in my life. The staff was friendly and efficient and the whole place just feels comfortable.
Dietary restrictions: I can’t have dairy and it was easy to find the dishes I could eat here
Kid-friendliness: I remember this place from when I was a child and it just seems very friendly overall. It’s advertised as family dining and it’s completely accurate.

Had a huge burrito that was very tasty...
Nice sit down with everything you expect from a Mexican restaurant. The portions are generous, fairly priced and their salsas are delicious. The locale is well kept and very clean!
Kid-friendliness: Very family oriented and kid friendly.

Every time we come to Port Townsend this restaurant is where we always eat our first night dinner. I had the carne asada burrito and they did not skimp on the meat. Service was good and attentive. I asked for bean dip vs salsa and it was promptly brought out

I don't understand where people give good reviews and then a 4-star. I first went here in 2008 and have been going back since, no matter where I have lived in WA. There are days they are busy and have short staff, but there is no reason to give a bad review for that; these things happen in the industry. One time they were busy with some business stuff going on and we waited a while, but the second time we returned, the manager remembered us and apologized. They have always been as friendly as can be, and the food has awesome flavor. Keep taking care of your family businesses.

I’ll get right to it.
Husband ordered Carne Asada. Carnitas plate came out. We hate to send food back but it is not what he ordered. The waitress pushed back. But we know he ordered Carne Asada because he talked about it all the way to the restaurant and that’s his go to. After she pushed back Caesar (Assuming the manager) came out with a mad dog look on his face and asked us who made the mistake us or the waitress? I was thinking to myself wtf? I work in food service. That is not what you do as a manager. You come to the table and say. Sorry for the mix up your carne asada will be out shortly. Can I get you anything while you’re waiting? I was nervous for the server so I said it was probably misheard but he did order Carne Asada.
It came out shortly after and then we were left to eat without anyone checking back on us.
Not to add insult to injury but we also had 2 fajita plates. It was literally Asian stir fry the sauce was sweet. Myself and my friend with us are both Mexican. How do you mess up fajitas? I didn’t eat mine he barely touched his.
The person who dropped our check was the bus boy. So we were treated like second class citizens for a miscommunication about our meal. What a shame. Why is is so hard to correct a dish? It’s not grass fed Ribye.
The manager never smiled and made us feel so uncomfortable. And then the waitress ignored us for the rest of the time. They never came back to refill water or ask if we wanted another drink. Why my husband left a tip is beyond me.
$115.00 for the worst restaurant experience of my life.

I had an enchilada and a taco. Super American version of both and they both lacked flavor. However, the spicy salsa was very good and I suspect it was homemade.

I absolutely recommend this place for its wonderful food, attentive service, and friendly wait staff! They're always willing to accommodate your order, which is wonderful. Even an adult can order from the kids menu. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a good place to dine!
