Sunday was our first time dining at Fireside and it was great. We chose Sunday to experience their farm to table special, featuring foods from the area in 3 courses. First was a salad with buttermilk dressing and bread with crushed olive dip. Both were delicious. The entree was two codfish tacos with rice and beans. The tacos were great, rice and beans were okay (could have been spiced a bit more). Dessert was duck egg flan, which was done to perfection. Ambiance was super, we dined outside with a beautiful view of the marina, bay and mountains. Service was fine as well, we never waited for refills on water and drinks, meals were served quickly and properly.
Food was ok but not for the price. Sauce over chicken very bland and tasteless. Bread was very hard and the croutons in the salad were like rocks.
The Fireside is a favorite of ours and never disappoints. This visit was no exception. The food was excellent, and our server, Tanner, was outstanding. He was friendly, personable, and went out of his way to assist one in our party who had food sensitivities. Thank you for another wonderful lunch experience!
Have had better experiences at the Inn. Service was really slow this time and the server seemed annoyed to even deal with us. We had to ask other servers for help. We eat there almost every week so not the norm. Not much around here for locals...hope that new server learns or moves on.
We had a delicious dinner. Excellent service. Outside seating in the sunshine. Great evening!
Great location for a lovely dinner. Locally sourced food, with plenty of choices. Highly recommended it!
Very low key dining. Didn't have a full dinner since menu was limited and a bit overpriced. The basic Caesar salad with chicken added was ok, nothing special. Felt like dining in a retirement home which is basically what the residents of Port Ludlow are, retired. Staff was friendly but inexperienced due to limited number of people that probably dine there perhaps.
Our dinners were excellent! I had chicken Marsala and my husband had the halibut. Both dishes were delicious. The service was wonderful. The view is gorgeous! We highly recommend Fireside Restaurant.
Beautiful setting for lunch with friends. Service was very slow. I felt an undercurrent of something unpleasant happening to/with the staff. I wanted to love it so will give it another try sometime.
Lovely setting. Extremely poor service. 20 minutes to fulfill a mocktail order, and another 40 minutes for food service. Bartender looked like he hadn't slept in days, rag hanging out of his back pocket. I don't blame the staff, they all look tired, this is clearly a management issue. Food was OK, though my steak was chewy and had a weird gamey taste. I covered it with the grilled vegetables on the plate to not taste it. Port Ludlow needs this restaurant to step it up.

OMG. Excellent service. We had spinach salad, jadori chicken and shrimp with polenta. Very, very good. Our server was helpful and pleasant.
what a great local dining experience at the end the food is always amazing and the service is great. The manager takes great pride in what they serve and shift and makes amazing meals. Looking forward to Easter brunch. When in Port Ludlow Give them a try

We have previously had such good experiences at the Fireside, but this time it was quite a disappointment. It was a big wedding anniversary (our 55th) for us. So, starting from the beginning... The young man who was seating us, a party of 5, filled the other 4 water glasses but not mine. He also did not leave us drink menus; our waitress brought them later when she realized he had not. She told us we were going to have a “fun” night. Nope, nothing out of the ordinary. Servings were small and not all served at once. The adults were served but my little 6yo granddaughter did not get her kids burger until about 10 minutes later. That was the opposite of what should have happened. The food tasted good but the servings were very small. Not even a free dessert with a candle. We have celebrated many times here, but we think this will be the last time for us.
The mocha and drinks were lovely. The brunch menu had limited selections for a vegetarian. They were able to prepare a meat free Eggs Benedict, however the sauce was quite bland. I had been eager to try their "farm to table" meals but many of the items I saw on the online menu were not on their current menu. It was not bad, but not great either.
