We were so pleasantly surprised with the Bistro. When we first were seated we chose a table away from the piano as we thought it might be hard to converse, but quickly we were reseated in the main restaurant, very nice atmosphere. We had well made cocktails and the clams as an appetizer. Main course was delicious - well prepared and well presented . Price was very reasonable too! Our new favorite restaurant on the Sinclair Inlet!
Definitely not worth the $$$$Meals are overpriced as we not excited once we tasted our dinnerService was terribleWill not be going

Nice little restaurant. Brussel sprouts to start were delicious. We all ordered steaks. 2 medium rare and 1 medium. Flavors were good but none of the steaks were cooked right with each one being overcooked. It’s a nice place but a little pricey for a middle of the road steak. Piano music was great for the ambiance and the server was super nice.

This restaurant is fabulous! My hubby and I went to Bay Street Bistro for the first time tonight. We've lived in the area for 2.5 years and hadn't stopped by yet even though we live a couple of blocks away. We're officially going to go there more often for our date nights! Even though it's considered an upscale restaurant, the atmosphere is great. Very chill without the pinky up vibes. The food was delicious. We had the charcuterie board, stuffed mushrooms, organic baby spinach dinner, Alaskan king salmon, and the prawn linguine. The salmon was my least favorite thing out of all the delicious things we ate, but it was still good and I'm not a fan of salmon! The server was very polite and attentive. You aren't seated, so you get to pick where you want to sit when you enter.

Sunday Supper mediocre. Deviled eggs great. Salad ok. Main dish exceedingly bland with limited pieces of seafood pasta/seafood. Requested bread and never came. Dessert cupcake good, but returned as had a hair in it. LONG wait for coffee and came cold, needed returned. Did not have decaf coffee upon request. Water glasses empty for near entirety of dinner. All in all, ok meal. Not worth $250 for 4 people. Would return again for a tapas plate and a bar drink. (will not return for dinner)

Our Hostess, Carla, was Delightful and her Attention to Detail was Amazing!!! Her Recommendations were Perfect and we both agreed the meals were scrumptious!!!! Thanks Again Carla….Job Well Done!!! We’ll Be Back:):)
The Good News: for a date or special event, like a birthday, the atmosphere is terrific. Service is attentive. The Bad News: the food, while good, is kind of pricey for what you're getting. I understand places that aspire toward fine dining have modest portions, and I'm fine with that. However, if you're going that route, everything provided should be exquisite, not just basically good. ( It's a money for value thing)

Excellent first time visit. Clams made a perfect first course. Salmon w/ brie and blueberry glaze and lamb loin chops were our fantastic entrée choices. Topped it off with a delicious and large slice of cheesecake w/ berries to share. Can't wait to go back!

We went there tonight. Only one person running the entire reataurant. She did a great job. Superhuman. Waitressed, bartended, bussed tables. 40 people in there at one point. If I had a restaurant, I'd make her an offer.Ok. Now for the food.Charcuterie was meh. I expected much better array for $20. They could have used better preserved meats.Mushrooms, stuffed. I won't order them again. Button mushrooms, 4 of them with chopped bacon and blue cheese dressing. No love. The entrees were very good. We had the pork, scallops, and the beef. All very tasty.Drinks were well executed.I'll go back, sans appetizers.

6/14/23: Whenever we celebrate anything, it often involves BSB. My anniversary dinner selection was the pork chops in a lovely Marsala cream sauce with a side Caesar salad. I asked for a taste of the pulled pork & bean soup & knew I had to order a large to take home. Honestly, one of the best soups I’ve ever had! We love this place!

An okay spot for a nice sit down dinner. Food is good but they seem to be out of items a lot and we've had a couple of instances of our food being under cooked or coming to us cold. The staff was extremely helpful with these issues but it has tempered our normally excited attitude about going there. Cocktails are top notch and the atmosphere is warm.

Don't let the outside fool you. I never would have gone into this bistro if it had not been for Derby Days. The inside is really nice and the atmosphere is great. I sat watching Bay Street while enjoying a very good pinot gris. Highly recommend.
Very very good! Lovely ambience. A favorite destination for me. It does need a more vegetarian friendly menu. Even a vegetarian protein substitute for the seafood items!
