Didn’t actually eat here so I cannot comment on the food. They have weird rules, takeout only for dinner, dining room only available between 12:30 and 3:30. I walked in wanting to have a nice sit down meal with my son and we are some distance away so takeout wasn’t an option. But nope, dining room is not available so we walked out.

Amazing place, very friendly staff and amazing food, I have been going here for years and have never had a single issue with staff, food or cleanliness, 100% recommend.

This has been our "go-to" spot for teriyaki since moving to Port Orchard a few years ago, but our most recent experience has likely changed that. My husband's spicy teriyaki was significantly over sauced, and my chicken breast teriyaki was both under sauced and TOUGH AS JERKY. Both were unpleasant to eat, mine to the point of not finishing. I'm not sure what is going on in the kitchen at Kim's, but we hope this review might serve as encouragement to refocus on the quality and consistency customers have come to expect of this restaurant.

I legitimately do not understand why the food tastes so bad in Kitsap. Everything is bland and smothered in sugar and salt. Teriyaki was okay. The yakisoba was drowned in a syrupy sweet sauce for no reason other than to satisfy the uncultured taste buds of backwater kitsap county residents. No thank you.

I stopped going to Kim’s teriyaki a couple of years ago after witnessing the cook drop food on the kitchen floor pick it up,cook it then serve it in people’s orders. I witnessed this on two separate occasions. I finally decided against my better judgment to place a to go order as I was in a rush and they were right there in the same shopping center. I ordered teriyaki chicken and sesame chicken combo. To my dismay the chicken had no teriyaki sauce on it or at all in the order. The sesame chicken was dry and had very little sauce on it and had the interesting flavor of vinegar which is probably in the sauce but I’m pretty sure not the sauce. The rice was dry and stuck together like a brick not fresh, warm and fluffy. And to finish to top it all off it was an incredibly small amount. Can we say flush to $18. Sorry Kim’s completely lost my trust AGAIN, I will NEVER eat at Kim’s teriyaki again! YUCK!!! County health inspector should really pay a visit.

Great teriyaki EDIT: this place has went downhill lately. Not sure what happen but the chicken is constantly burnt so much that half the food is not edible.EDIT Again: 10/23. The food is much better these days. Increased the rating
