We have loved Peninsula Bevco since they e opened. The food is great and the location is awesome but the last 4/5 times (at least) that I’ve been here at various times/ days of the week the service has been awful. This afternoon I came in and sat at the bar with my sister and we were given menus and nothing else. We sat and sat and had no interaction with any wait staff. I went here to eat for a pretty penny. On the big screen tv there was some nature channel with predators and scavengers ripping apart prey animals. I complained. I was ignored. The animals ripping each other apart continued until I had to become unpleasant with the manager. It was an unpleasant experience altogether.
Their food is amazing but their service is awful. Really disappointing as the food was great. Seems like a management issue as many people have had the same experience as me. We sat right at the bar & were hardly even acknowledged. It took 20+ minutes to flag someone down for a second round of drinks. At one point a worker handed up coasters without taking our refill orders lol. Just really poorly run.
