Friday night and only had one server. That was the biggest thing. Food was good but never got our soda as ordered.

Someone shared this place on TikTok and decided to give it a try before work! I got a basic cheeseburger and it was fantastic, I’m not upset but I’m pretty sure the orange juice is made from concentrate but how else do you stay in business!! The waitress was a doll. Absolutely wonderful I loved sitting at the diner bar and hearing her bicker (in a healthy way) with who I assume is Cody in the kitchen. It was a very nice dining experience!

The staff seems very lack luster, although Patti's spirit can energize the entire place, so it kind of covers up the lack of enthusiasm that the rest of the staff seem to have for their jobs. The atmosphere is akin to a vintage diner, which is a little played out but still comfy and cute and they keep it very clean. The food though, it was truly awful. The fish and chips had ZERO flavor, not seasoned in any way and the fries weren't even lightly salted. The club sandwich was basic, and couldn't been done better at my house with top quality bacon and a premium roasted turkey on a stunning sourdough, with heirloom tomatoes and maybe some avocado, and there's nothing wrong with a signature seasoning that goes on almost everything, even if it's in the smallest proportions. Even the apple pie didn't have enough salt in the crust, which wasn't a flaky golden brown and buttery in the slightest, and the filling had to have been made from the most flavorless apples and had a serious lack of seasoning. This was truly the most boring, underwhelming, unsatisfying meal I've had in forever. Truly, I would've gotten more flavor from McDonald's and I think just as many things were from frozen, and the cooks clearly never sample what they're making, which is too the detriment of the establishment and worse the passing customers. I've lived here for over a decade, been coming to PO for 30+ years to see family, a family of hardcore foodies who rave about places like Uncle a Dave's and That One Place, so it's no surprise that I've only just heard about the Ruby Slipper in the last 6 months. With so many well done small town joints in the area it's amazing that this place has been there as long as it has, and it's clear why it isn't more prominent in the local food scene.

Best desserts in the county! Everything I ate there was absolutely delicious. The portions were huge. The food was cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly, attentive, cheerful, and helpful. Great vibe in the restaurant. It was SUPER CLEAN in the dining area. Don’t walk but RUN to try this place if you haven’t already

Always a pleasant atmosphere with delicious food. One of my favorite places to go.

Stopped in for lunch and had the philly cheesesteak. Portion of meat on the sandwich was a little lacking and the bread was pretty dry. The fresh cut fries kind of made up for it but if I go back it maybe it will be for breakfast.

Cute restaurant, the server seemed very tired and annoyed at our requests for condiments. My family said the food was too bland. We felt like we were more of a burden to our server. Pricing seemed high for amount of food we received. Disappointing experience all in all.
