Had the Traditional Heirloom cider on tap in town. Absolutely delicious and traditional English style cider. Can’t wait to visit the actual tasting room.
Came here for the Cider festival weekend in Port Townsend. My wife and I were unimpressed. The meads themselves were good, but the seating area was just a lean-to with one table, some seating, it was October and chilly but no heaters or wood burning fire. Driving in it looked iffy, like just someones house with a shopfront attached. Overall not impressed.
Small location - limited time open for tasting - cider was good - outdoor only seating - wear warm clothing as they do not have any heating in the covered area, they did have some blankets - also limited tables - which can get tricky if you have a flight of cider and nowhere but your lap to try to balance it
We became members on our first visit- it’s that good. The family is wonderful, the ciders are fantastic, and the experience on the land was peaceful. There is something to be said when the owner/founder comes to your table to chat and get to know you when you’re having a tasting!
We had all 3 of the flights and every single one of the 9 ciders was great. I’ve had many flights all across the country and never had them all be enjoyable. Colin was very knowledgeable, generous with his time, and even gave us some birding tips! Go here if you get the chance!
Our absolute favorite cidery in Washington. If you have a chance to visit during their seasonal open hours, don't miss out. The cidery is based at their home & orchard and there's nothing like tasting the ciders while looking into the orchard. The family is incredible and tasting their ciders with them is a treat. The cider is incredible, especially or folks who prefer dry and traditional cider styles. 10/10, Alpenfire is the best!
The best
Great cider, enjoyed the brunch for Apple Cider Festival weekend. Our first visit and we’ll be back. Thanks Bear for the tour.
Best Cider I have ever tasted. Stopped by to visit the Cidery and they were closed due to a power outage. Owner was very friendly and was went out of her way to make sure I was able to buy some Glow despite the power problems.
SO GOOD! So crisp. So clean. Instead of a variety of added flavorings you taste different flavors through the different apple varieties. Truly wonderful!

Loved it. Cider was clean and crisp. Bought a case!
their flights are a great way to narrow down your taste. In my case it was a little tough..they were all great. Northern spy was my choice. It was great to meet Bear who is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and his wife that is very pleasant and sweet. Highly recommend, thank you!
Great cider. Very relaxing 0lace to sit outside and enjoy cider. Friendly owners.
Best cidery in US and Overseas!
