Came for morning coffee while visiting Port Townsend. Great location and view…if you can get a seat! It was super crowded and we ended up at a tiny table in a dark hallway by the entrance. People were constantly coming in and out, leaving the door open so we were cold. The coffee and muffin were excellent but I wish we could’ve been inside.

I love Better Living Through Coffee! I've been going here for years and always look forward to my time in the coffee shop. I recently ordered coffee beans and the new Peru Select is incredible! Thank you for doing coffee so well.

I was so happy to discover this wonderful little gem of a coffee shop!
The vibe inside was great, so inviting and diverse. The coffee was excellent, I would highly recommend stopping by!

Spouse and I had the caffe aranciata, as well as some vegan pastries. I think they had at least four or five different vegan pastries that were freshly made (we visited on a Sunday). I forgot the name of the pastry I got but it was like a berry crumble sort of thing and went really well with my drink, which was a mocha with orange peel in it. Amazing! The view was very pretty as well. We will come back when we’re in the area.

Delicious coffee and several vegan pastry options. The best part: they have four non-dairy milks to choose from and don’t charge extra, which is rare these days! Note that the location moved and it’s on the water now. Updated from previous review on 2024-12-08

First visit (11\11\24), and I really liked the space, and the staff. The coffee was great. Way better than I was expecting for a tourist town coffee shop. Will definitely go back if I am ever in town again.

Had the Dontes Tornado coffee as a pour over.

I love reading comments from bad reviews to good to know if the place is legit. The bad reviews on this place are hilarious i had to offset with a good review as the 1star have little to do with the quality. Hilarious 1 star review of a NY 'ker complaining about the Beagles. As an east coaster I could hear the guys voice complaining as I read the review.

Okay now for my review. I went with my family so I got to sample 4 coffees and 3 dishes. The barista takes pride in the coffee and the foam and TEMPERATURE was perfect. Very few places do this. The coffee was not burnt like 99% of shops. My mom order a specialty coffee with orange and moca. I'm a purist but this was a great coffee too. My gf ordered a chai and it was uniquely fresh.
If you are in Port Townsend I recommend this spot. I suspect most if the coffee shops are good here but this spot is particularly well done

The perfect coffee shop. Peaceful with a local feel. Coffee was delicious, prices were typical. Kinda hard to find with current construction.

Whenever we are in town, Better Living is an absolute must for us. I know there are other options, but this tops them all. Right on the water, beautiful views, great service and the best coffee in the land. It continues to exceed our expectations with every visit. Consistency. That’s the key.
