Maybe you’ve had a mushroom croissant… but unless it came warmed on a plate from Bishop Block Bottle Shop ? you’ve not had the best.In the winter, I sip delicious hot chocolate by their fireplace. In spring and summer you can sip something from their wide array of wines and ciders, whilst sitting outside in the sweet smelling and beautiful garden out back.Inside seating is cozy with lots of natural lighting and on any given night you can chill and listen to live music. The staff are laid back and excellent in service and care.

Such a great spot! The folks are so friendly and welcoming. Not your stuffy wine spot. Super approachable, very chill, so so kind! All the events in the evening are always on point. Come for the wine, stay for the music.

I recently stayed here for a girls getaway. It was a charming hotel and lounge. Loved the warm and inviting owner and staff, and the townsfolk that clearly were at home when they popped in, many with their fur babies. We sampled many of their delicious menu items, which I am still missing. This is truly a community gem and I wish I was there now with a delicious glass of their organic wine and their appetizers, warming in front of the fire.

So happy we found this spot. It's the perfect place for a sip and a snack any time of day. The sardine plate was exceptional. Highly recommend the orange wine glass pour.

Perhaps one of the most underrated cafe in Port Townsend and one of our highlights was finding this adorable shop. It’s absolutely stunning inside and the pastries looked delicious. They have various wine and beer selection for sale but also offer a coffee menu and food. The best part? Dog friendly! We will definitely be back again!

Fantastic spot for drinks and noshes. My group had frozés, the mushroom pate, the salmon spread and a cheese board. All were terrific.

I cannot say enough about both the bottle shop and Bishop Hotel. We were three high school friends meeting in Port Townsend for a 3 day weekend. We enjoyed Lattes and Croissants in the morning in the bright, cheery and comfortable space of the Bishop Block Bottle Shop. We slept very comfortably in the hotel at night. On Tue and Saturday evenings the bottle shop offers live Bosa Nova Jazz from 5-7 and provides menu offerings of lovely wine, crostini's and delicious salmon dip. It was heaven on earth.

Super friendly staff, simple menu that delivers and live jazz. Garden area looks really enjoyable, looking forward to warmer temps.

A charming space and a lovely experience. There was no dinner menu so we just ordered enough appetizers to make a dinner. Mushroom pate with home made buckwheat crackers, salmon spread with crostini, a charcuterie plate. A small but nicely chosen wine list. Try going at dusk and bundling up at one of the tables with a propane fire pit in the middle. Got to say hi to the manager and chef for a few minutes - super nice folks.
