Super looking baked goods. Only had coffee and a peanut butter cookie. I'll return for additional treats in the future

Talk about a heart throb! Crusty Crumb has to be one of the best sourdough bakeries I’ve ever found!!!! It’s really hard to choose just one thing. I really can’t pick a favorite, but top of the list would be the cruffin. It’s filled with Bavarian cream and either strawberries or raspberries. I mean, what more can a girl ask for? There are so many bread options and the bagels are back!!!! Everyday that they're open there’s room to try something different but you have to get there early before certain items sell out. Thanks for being here!

There's nothing more I can say except I just had the best cinnamon roll of my entire life here.

Try the carrot cake cinnamon roll. You won't be sorry.

We drove nearly two hours to try this bakery out on a recommendation from a friend. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The snickerdoodle cookies were to die for, as was this chicken pesto pastry we tried. We came back later in the day to purchase bread and cookies to ship to a friend. I wish we lived closer. I would be here nearly every day.

A friend brought me an apple cinnamon roll from Crusty Crumb and I warmed it with a pat of butter in the microwave for 10 seconds. It was delicious and made me want to go back a couple weeks later to get another one. Totally different experience. I took the apple cinnamon roll home, put a pat of butter on it and microwaved it for 10 seconds. The roll was hard, so hard I could not cut it with a fork even or chew it.
A couple days later the owner or management of Crusty Crumb posted about poor reviews they were getting and said this:
'We’ve seen a few reviews lately that let us know we didn’t hit the mark for everyone. While we know we can’t please every single person, we care deeply about what we bake, how we serve, and how you feel when you visit'.
They followed up with this:

'If something was off during your visit, we’re truly sorry. We’re human, and we may not realize something’s wrong unless you tell us. We welcome all kinds of feedback, from the food to the atmosphere, and we’d love the chance to make things right'

So, since my experience was so recent I mentioned the hard apple cinnamon roll.

I was told that bread should never be put in the microwave - making me the reason their cinnamon roll was too hard to eat. I stand by my comment that 10 seconds in a microwave did not ruin that roll. The butter didn't even melt.
Crusty Crumb asked for feedback. When I shared my experience, they were looking for accolades, not an unhappy customer and even though the said 'they'd like to make it right', they didn't mean it. I was not offered a refund for the $6 cinnamon roll nor invited to return to the bakery to get another cinnamon roll on the house hoping for a better experience. They asked for feedback but didn't really want feedback. Disingenuous at best.

One of the places in town to get real sourdough in shapes that aren't typically sourdough- especially croissants! So good always.

My favorite pastry stop in town! I love the grab and go cases—it makes me feel like I can linger and decide slowwwwly—and the selection is great! We’re obsessed with the savory brioche and apple fritters! The peanut butter cookies are so soft & definitely changed my mind on what can be made with a sourdough starter. We love you!!

Drove an hour to go get a nice bagel. Got there an hour after they open and they were sold out. The gal working was rude, not very professional, and really discourage us from ever returning. What a shame because the gentleman that used to work there was awesome

I’ve been to this bakery quite a few times and have not been disappointed with anything that I have picked out or what was recommended to me by the staff. I would recommend this bakery to anyone and everyone.

I’ve heard their bread is great and I understand why they have some loyal customers. Unfortunately, the gimmick of including sourdough in almost everything, results in some really gross pastries. Their croissants and scones are basically inedible, and the hamburger buns they make for Silverwater are really overwhelming in sourdough flavor. Their cardamom buns are to die for, and it’s a shame that even if some of their other pastries may be great too, we are very hesitant to try them due to past bad experiences.
