The beet salad was fabulous with a blend of compelmentary flavors of sweet huckleberry and a tart dressing. The white fish was fresh, made traditionally. The salmon was not fresh and would avoid ordering next time. The dessert of in house made ice cream and chocolate tart are not to be missed.
Stopped in here for a quick glass of wine and some oysters after hearing great things about this restaurant. I was seated promptly at the bar. The service was excellent. The oysters were delicious, fresh, and served with a really flavorful mignonette. The fresh sourdough was incredible, and the butter was served soft - which I definitely will judge a restaurant for if they bring me cold butter with my bread. That was not the case here. It shows care about the customer's experience....
One of the best meal experiences we have ever had. The Hama Hama Oysters and mushroom soup were fantastic, as was the rest of the meal. Definitely on the short list of one of the best restaurants in Washington.
