Since I found Friendly Nettle almost a year ago I've developed a serious obsession with their Banh Mi. I consider myself an amatuer-connoisseur-quasi-ad hoc-expert on these amazing sandwiches and these are by far the best I've had. If you haven't had a Banh Mi this is the place to start. If you love these as much as I do stop reading this and go get one! Well done Friendly Nettle! I will continue to follow you around and eat your sandwiches until you stop making them.

Friendly Nettle located at Lila’s Kitchen OPEN 2-7pm on Fridays and 11:30-2:30 Mondays and Tuesdays. I order the gyros (I like the falafel with baba ghanoush and my partner likes the lamb), the tots are great and the chicken katsu that I had today was outstanding! Nice outdoor seating or take it to go and eat at a pub or beach nearby. Sweet service, definitely worth remembering to eat here when they’re open! Thank you chef Hans.

Cute local spot to grab lunch. Possibly the only gyro in town.

The food here is amazing! The gyros and food cooked up by Hans were totally worth the trip into town! Gonna make it back soon!

Friendly home grown takeout place in an industrial park. They have an outdoor covered area, but it seems most people order to go. The meat on the lamb gyros was good, and they were made with quality ingredients. The only thing we didn’t like was that there was too much lettuce and too much sauce. The black lemon tzatziki sauce was also very overpowering and took away from the flavor of the meat.We would go back, but we would ask for light sauce.
